it would be difficult to do anything breakthrough in phones now, they have added everything they can at this point in time, they are like laptops now, minor updates & tweaks.More of the same..
Titanium is difficult to machine and when a phone is dropped all the energy will be transferred to Glass instead of Titanium deforming, this comes with it's own challenges. Aluminum & plastic are better at absorbing shock/energy when a phone is dropped. Is the rumor about titanium replacing stainless steel officially dead? I’d love to see an ounce or two shaved off the weight of the Pro.
I want 8K screen, Wifi 7, 10 Gbps ethernet port.What about Wi-Fi 6E ?
First world problems.I think it’s unlikely that apple will switch to USB-C for the 14 because of all the profit they make by keeping it lightning. But I really hope they do at this point. All of my apple devices use USB-C and having just my iPhone using lightning is a massive hindrance by now. I doubt they will make the switch since they won’t have to until 2024 but if they did I’d be super excited and will definitely get it. What are your guys thoughts?
I've had T-Mobile US service since 2012 and everything seems to be okay for me. Especially since their 5G service uses the former Sprint frequencies.Maybe they’ll do away with physical SIM AND T-Mobile. I tried T-Mobile for 2 months two years ago, worst mistake ever.
I guess if you had a treehouse built in one of their towers and never left the house, you could keep a signal.
But I think you’re probably right.
6E will stream to the VR HeadsetI want 8K screen, Wifi 7, 10 Gbps ethernet port.
That’s excellent. I didn’t have a great experience. I drive to Denver from Texas a lot and went about 80% without a signal two different trips both ways. When I have 80-90% signal with Verizon on the same routes.I've had T-Mobile US service since 2012 and everything seems to be okay for me. Especially since their 5G service uses the former Sprint frequencies.
Well why are you on an Apple discussion board to begin with if you don't want to read about those sorts of problems?First world problems.

You’ll most likely be insta-waiting another year. But it seems everyone is hopeful of the same thing. If there is usb-c on the pros I will insta-buy
I agree. I don’t think USB-C is going to take place this year. It will be inside iPhone 15. Apple has approximately a year left before making that change. Honestly, Apple's iPhone team is already working on iPhone 15 as we speak. You’ll most likely be insta-waiting another year. But it seems everyone is hopeful of the same thing.
I personally could take it or leave it. But fingers crossed for everyone else 🤞
I still have hope. If they don’t bring it this September I’ll just wait another year, no biggie.I agree. I don’t think USB-C is going to take place this year. It will be inside iPhone 15. Only a problem if you see itI'm waiting for the day they stop using PWM (pulse-width modulation) in their OLED displays. It is shameful that they still use this technology to control backlight. Flicker-free monitors stopped being mainstream 20 years ago and yet it's somehow deemed acceptable in phone displays.
I have AT&T, Verizon, & T-Mobile all on eSIM on my iPhone 13 pro max. Only 2 can be active at a time though so 1 is always disabled.I'd love it if the iPhone 14 Pro Max supported multiple eSIMs. I have a business phone, and it would be much easier if it were all handled by eSIMs.
Every time I travel abroad, I use local SIM card. Saves tons of $ because stupid AT&T charges enormous amount for roaming.Does anyone actually use two SIMs? I've moved and don't want to change the number I've had for 15 years, but I also need a local number, so I'm trying to figure out an option there.
