Yeah ;-). Remember the store is still down, so I think maybe something could still be in the big apple-surprise box!
No, there won't. The picture of the MB family includes the "old" MBP's - they will not update that image twice a day. The MBP update will come in june I think. It is a noteworthy upgrade for Steve to present if they include LED backlighting with all the pollution hype and so forth.

So besides the minor speed bump, enabling 802.11n by default, what is new with this update? It's true people complain a lot on here, but it really does seem like a very minor update, almost not worth even announcing.
But this rumor states that 5 will be coming out, when the press release only mentions three....I'm guessing the MBP 15"ers will be getting an update as well.

It is very unlikely that MBP will also see an update today. I bet that won't happen until WWDC in june, where Steve can shine with his new environmentally friendly MBP's with LED.
well I'm happy, because I bought a blackbook yesterday, for £858, and because it hadn't shipped, they've upgraded my order and taken the money off... Which was lovely.
I'm bitter about the fact that they also bumped up Superdrive speeds to 8x, which surpasses the MBP 15' 6x drives.
MBP was not updated this time around, I have a feeling it'll be updated around WWDC or after iPhone

How do you know that apple is relatively skilled in the store update department?
i think the population went down, many gave up, which could prove to be a unwise decision
