Think it's possible for a jailbroken iPad app or process to be written that will allow this app to tether an iPad directly without a laptop intermediary?

This app is so wonderful! Tethering on an iPhone 4- the upload speed is faster than my home internet! (Home internet is capped at 1Mbps). Also downloaded on my 3GS, but haven't tested yet.

Best 99 cents I've ever spent!

EDIT- I have the video fully loaded in Safari if anyone needs it. Maybe I can record the video...

Just realize if you buy it is likely a .99 cent donation to Apple. Not likely they will ever pay him out for this app. I am sure it is a violation.

I do have the nullriver app and I never use it ,or else I might buy this.

To me that was different though. They did not intentionally deceive Apple, which is why this guy is likely to get no mercy.

Can someone please tell me the color combo again? I forget and the video on YT is not private. Thanks.

wow this is great. Now those noobs who got in on netshare (which doesn't even work anymore) can stop bragging about it ;)

Im so glad I got in on this donation to Apple, is it secure. I wont be typing in any passwords yet

How did you guys get the OS X location switching to work? If I keep my Automatic setup and add an "iPhone Tether" location, switching back and forth between them does nothing. When on Automatic going to iPhone Tether doesn't create/join the ad-hoc network, and going from iPhone Tether to Automatic doesn't re-join my wireless network.

Arg!

People need to realize what the killswitch is and what it isn't.

It ONLY removes an application's ability to get your location. Mentions of the killswitch are all throughout the corelocation framework.

It DOES NOT remove the application from your device or prevent it from being installed if you've already purchased it.

This is the truth, early news reports were inaccurate and even Steve was not fully educated as to how this works.

EDIT- I have the video fully loaded in Safari if anyone needs it. Maybe I can record the video...

WAIT DON'T CLOSE IT

1. Go to Window > Activity in Safari
2. Look for the youtube page that has the video loaded (if you have lots of webpages then you might need to collapse each web view until you get to the appropriate one).
3. Once you find it, expand the view (if it isn't already) and look for the largest file size. It should be the only one in MB.
4. Double click and it *should* download it desktop. Might not since it's already private.
