Nah, too much publicity. They'll just quietly release an update to iOS that breaks it.
They are certainly within their rights to do it.

Can't Apple remotely remove apps? Seems like eventually Apple will remotely pull the app.
Will this be apple's first kill-switched app?
Yes they can but I doubt it. Using a killswitch to help AT&T would not be worth the cred that apple would lose.
Another reason not to buy an iPhone, My HTC HD2 on a 7.2 Mb/s HSDPA connection beats the crap out of that. Happy waiting!!

I just searched for it in the App Store and it doesn't show up for me now.
Me too, but I wonder why Netshare was never kill-switched.
almost two years after release, netshare still works on ios 4Nah, too much publicity. They'll just quietly release an update to iOS that breaks it.
Apple won't killswitch the app unless its malware (ie, capturing credit card numbers, uploading all our pictures, tracking locations, etc.)
Will AT&T be able to tell we are tethering and charge us/yell at us? Have Netshare people had any problems?
I'm glad to have the app, but don't want to get dinged with fees.
Works ONLY in safari for me. Chrome and FF did not work.
Yeah, but wouldn't "tethering" be a violation of Apple's agreement with a developer?
