The foldable with a…touch sensor?Touch id then im definitely out if they want to go back in time I will get the Fold 7
Or the scanner is on the back of the phone.touchID? it means huge bezels or in-screen touchID?
I really appreciated being able to unlock my phone and use ApplePay with Touch ID. The first iPhone I bought with Touch ID is the 6+. It was a little annoying when it wouldn't work because the sensor got a little dirty, but wiping it with my finger always fixed it. It got better with version 2 on the 8+. Also, having TouchID when those stupid masks were mandated was awesome. It took Apple so long to update FaceID to work with masks. What are people's opinion on Touch ID?
If it’s the most expensive model it’s a Pro model. It wouldnt shift next to the regular model and articles already say the regular model won’t be released that year or “iPhone 18”This is very excited and now we have to decide whether we carry a Pro model or a Fold model if we were to carry one device as our daily driver. Clearly it won't have the Pro level camera.
What makes you think they aren’t?5.5 inch outer display, deal breaker for me. i feel heights of all both screen, inner and outer should be same.
If it’s under the display great (they won’t do it like before due to bezels and space) but they are talking about the power button Touch ID like on iPadI really appreciated being able to unlock my phone and use ApplePay with Touch ID. Having said all that, I think FaceID is faster and more convenient. I sometimes forget to look at the camera because I have the attention feature turned on for more security.
…and the iPad Air.3rd option: on the power button, like the iPad Mini.
Height yes but according to an article it would besmall in width for the outside screen like the older Samsung model (I think is what he means) which I also would not love. Meaning a smaller phone and not big like a Pro Max or ProWhat makes you think they aren’t?
Maybe Gurman had Gul Madred interrogate his Apple source.“Gurman said the five cameras will consist of one front camera, one inner camera, and two rear cameras.”
Especially after Apple made the claim that it's so much more secure. Why wouldn't it have face ID? Doesn't make sense.
Nothing about 5.5” implies a small width. It will actually be wider than the Pro Max. The side of the phone that would have to integrate Face ID is only 4.8 mm thick and has displays on both of its sides (outer and inner screen). The Face ID assembly is likely too deep to fit in between. Why wouldn't it have face ID? Doesn't make sense.
How would a small hinge prevent a crease?I think Apple will have to implement a super small hinge for it to be no crease. Unless I missed something.

It’s all hypothetical at this point just like the post you placed. Until it is announced in 2026 anything could change and I’ll wait until I see it before speculatingNothing about 5.5” implies a small width. It will actually be wider than the Pro Max.
