Thanks, but I have zero interest in using an Android phone.Check Samsung offering if preferring better technology. Apple technology is behind on offering flip or fold phone.

that's what she said....Can I get just half?
5.3" displays sounds perfect!
That's all I need.
It isn’t: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/leak-reveals-foldable-iphone-details.2474744/post-34338592Is this the return of the iPhone Mini?!?!!!! I'm in!!!!!
The mini is 5.4".
Am I reading this right? A premium phone, with high end internals, and even smaller than the mini? Please count me in!
The rumor indicates the iFold size is perfect to be iPhone mini when folded and to be iPad mini when unfolded. This device is so perfect in size for those who love both. The best one will be both devices now in one pocketable device.very tempting to get one but never unfold it because of that perfect external display size...
Almost, but you cannot not use Apple pen on foldables. The screens are too weak7.7 inches. Time to say so long to the iPad mini.
That's what I was thinking! I hope not though.7.7 inches. Time to say so long to the iPad mini.
I don't have telephoto yet to know what I'm missing, and I prefer touchId to FaceId. I'll start saving my tithe to Apple now!Based on the size rumor, this upcoming iFold is perfect for those who loves having iPhone mini and iPad mini in one pocketable device as long as not requiring telephoto and Face ID.
Of course it will be. The air is thicker and heavier than a mini.Except it will almost certainly be thicker and definitely heavier than a Mini.
Somewhat it is the return of the iPhone mini with extra iPad mini when unfolded. It is such a perfect two “mini” devices in one.
The Fold will probably be 4x the cost of an iPad mini, so probably not.7.7 inches. Time to say so long to the iPad mini.
And they will lock into a contract for 5 years. With carrier discounts and trade in, it should not cost too high. See what carrier offers for Samsung Fold Z.

Sounds right. iPad mini now is pocketable when folded to be an iPhone mini. It is a perfect “mini” hybrid device.7.7 inches. Time to say so long to the iPad mini.
Well, ... take a look here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ls.2474744/page-6?post=34338592#post-34338592The mini is 5.4".

No, not quite. The mini is 5.4".

Ya, you mentioned that… about a hundred times yesterday. LOLAnd TouchID is far too unreliable for me (success rate on my iPad Air is 60% at best) for a smartphone.
I’m looking forward to the foldable iPhone, but it won’t be an iPad replacement for most of us. First of all, because of aspect ratio, which will be necessarily weird either on folded mode or on unfolded mode.7.7 inches. Time to say so long to the iPad mini.
Buzzer sound. The air is thicker and heavier than a mini.
That's an awfully personal question, my friend! What's the girth on this sucker. Double the air?
To nitpick, the iPhone Air is actually over 11 mm thick at its thickest.Buzzer sound.
Heavier, not thicker.
7.7 MM thick on the Mini, 5.6 MM on the Air.
It’s not a “mini” phone in size. What distinguishes the iPhone mini is its ability to be used one-handed, due to its limited width and weight. The foldable iPhone won’t have these properties.Somewhat it is the return of the iPhone mini with extra iPad mini when unfolded. It is such a perfect two “mini” devices in one.
My 17PM was 1099, my 13 iPad Air 849, so combined 1949. If I assume for now that the fold might start at 1999, in my case it's pretty much a wash, and I'd prefer a single device over 2 separate ones, for me that is.It'll cost more than the iPhone Mini + iPad mini, so naa. It's also going to weigh quite a bit more than a 13 Mini, which is 141g.
Finally, there isn't a phone in the world, Apple or otherwise, that is worth north of $2000.
