Oppo Find N6 with the “invisible “ crease. It’s crazy how far this tech came. It’s really not visible.
I nearly pulled the trigger on a Find N5 last year which was what the OnePlus Open 2 would have been if it had made it to market. I so wish they would release a North American version that would have full warranty support and full compatibility with North American carrier bands. That said, not sure I could leave the TriFold for it at this point even though it looks to be very impressive. I'll likely buy the iPhone Fold when it comes out and be done for the year.Oppo Find N6 with the “invisible “ crease. It’s crazy how far this tech came. It’s really not visible.
With me… it starts with software. If I’m not feeling the software then everything else fall short…How do you feel about the Honor Magic V6?
It pretty much solves all my complaints about the Z Fold7. Dust resistance (!) better water resistance, a brighter internal screen, anti reflective coating on the screen (or is it screens ?), bigger battery, faster charging speeds. The things where the Z Fold8 might beat it are possibly software and a better camera.
Also the Oppo Find N6 looks quite interesting, I'm loving all of this competition in the folding category 🙌🏼
Yeah, the iPhone foldable is the most anticipated device since Vision Pro... I'd wager the foldable iPhone will be sold out for weeks (maybe months) when it first launch. The wide Z Fold 8 is something I want to see. I'm also interested in the Razr Fold. Even the foldable iPhone is something I want to see. I probably won't get another phone until 2027 though.
iPhone Fold is the only device I’m interested in this year outside of my Trifold. Z Fold 8 wide could lure me away if they improve the cameras from the ZF7/Trifold but even then it’d be tough to lure me away. It’s a one of a kind device and possibly the only one Samsung will make. The wide Z Fold 8 is something I want to see. I'm also interested in the Razr Fold. I agree, an iPhone foldable is going to sell like hotcakes. With me… it starts with software. If I’m not feeling the software then everything else fall short…

The cameras are a big thing to me. I went from a Z Fold 5 to a Pixel slab phone and being able to get a good picture almost every time is really nice.iPhone Fold is the only device I’m interested in this year outside of my Trifold. I definitely find myself missing the camera from my iPhone 17PM when I’m not using it. The Trifold cameras are good but definitely not fantasticThe cameras are a big thing to me. I went from a Z Fold 5 to a Pixel slab phone and being able to get a good picture almost every time is really nice.
I didn't realize that I'd stopped taking as many pictures with my ZF5 until I started using this Pixel. So as much as I enjoy the foldable experience I'm going to have to see some camera improvements before I go back.I definitely find myself missing the camera from my iPhone 17PM when I’m not using it. Clark: Can't see the line, can you Russ? The Oppo Find N6 is getting a worldwide release! Also the crease is history. You can’t see it at all!
Can still barely see it when he holds it at just the right angle but still impressive. Honestly, the crease has never been a real problem for me. I use my Trifold open about 40 percent of the time and unless I hold it at the right angle I never really notice the creases. Looking at it straight on it completely blends in. It's not surprising though that Oppo is the first to bring a nearly creaseless display. I used the OnePlus Open for several months and the crease was probably the best of any foldable I've had, and that phone is 2+ years old now. Also, Oppo/Oneplus had some really nifty software features that really made good use of the foldable form factor. I'll be interested in seeing some full reviews. The Oppo Find N6 is getting a worldwide release! Also the crease is history. You can’t see it at all!
I've always liked Motorola and the way they handle the software, so it would be interesting to see a foldable in action.. they have not had a good track record on updates but I don't know if that's changed..Are any of you interested in the Razr Fold? It looks very appealing on paper.
I've seen it in some YouTube videos but not a real review that shows the software side but it's interesting.I've always liked Motorola and the way they handle the software, so it would be interesting to see a foldable in action.. they have not had a good track record on updates but I don't know if that's changed..
Same for me. I'm all for competition in the foldable space... but Samsung has me locked in with the feature set it provides.I'm going to wait for Samsung but looks promising with planned updates.
I haven't joined the beta. I'm definitely going to enroll. Maybe today I get a chance to stop by Best Buy ...Same for me. I'm all for competition in the foldable space... but Samsung has me locked in with the feature set it provides.
Have you joined the beta program for One UI 8.5 on the Fold 7? Part of me wants to head up to Best Buy and pick one up just to check out the beta lol
Agree hard to beat Samsung features a big advantage.
