Actually it changes a lot as priorities shift within Samsung electronics, and budgets shift among the three separate divisions.

Samsung mobile, their products, and Samsung mobile consumers will suffer because of it due to infighting and distrust between the different divisions of Samsung electronics. Layoffs, slashing budgets, marketing, product quality/innovation and freebies start to disappear in the name of generating and retaining profits. I wouldn’t call that ebb and flow. 😂

“ The situation has already escalated beyond employee frustration. The union representing Samsung’s mobile and home appliance workers plans to seek a court injunction against the agreement, while some shareholders are reportedly threatening legal action unless the deal goes through a shareholder vote…. Samsung’s strike threat may have cooled down for now, but the company now faces a deeper internal divide between its own divisions.”

Keep in mind all of this happened before Samsung mobiles first ever quarterly loss and declining marketshare.
Pffft.....No one cares.....except someone trying to find something negative to say about

Samsung will earn more profit in 2026 than it did over the previous 40 years combined thanks to the AI boom

I watched this video yesterday and it makes me wonder how the Pixel foldable is going to fare with more competition from the Razr Fold and two Samsung models not to mention how the iPhone foldable will impact the market.
I think Pixel foldable will be fine… there are still people who value the Pixel experience above all else and then they benefit from getting updates first.

As always… more competition the better in which case the consumer wins.

I'm in favor of more competition also, consumers always win with that.
I think the Pixel fold will be ok also but I think it will lose market share.

Samsung mobile employees definitely care. 😂
Oh yeah...one division is making more money than another division of a huge conglomerate therefore getting bigger bonuses.....Stop the presses.......oh and those getting smaller bonuses are not happy......again stop the presses....
This scenario happens 1000s of times a week in corporate settings.....

You seem to be desperately trying to minimize Samsungs mobile’s first ever quarterly loss.

The Samsung mobile employees are not happy, they are planning a strike. But all is well. $4000 vs $400000 is practically nothing, according to you.

Ofcourse nothing to see here. 😂

Samsung appears to be the only foldable that uses squared off edges on the displays, compared to rounded edges on everything else? I am likely going to get the Apple foldable as well, but have always liked the proper squared off edges on Samsung’s recent foldables.

The Fold 8 Wide is very interesting to me. Not sure if will get it until I get some hands on with it. I will sit out the first gen Apple foldable. So much new tech coming in the next couple of months!

The full speaks have leaked from Germany, Fold 8 starting at 1,999€ (256 GB 😭)

Yeah, it leaked over a week ago… then there’s the $30 preorder credit compared to $50 last year. As well as the rumored no free storage upgrade… it’s looking grim for Samsung users.

I’m interested in the Fold 8 Wide… but if Samsung is stingy when it comes to discounts, I don’t know. Luckily, I have an educational discount… but we shall see how it all plays out come next week. And if I do upgrade… most likely move to the 3-year upgrade cycle going forward lol.

Crap. If these trade-in values are really bad I'm going to be hitting you up for that discount LOL

I think they all look nice in their own way but Samsung's do look good.
