I enjoyed this show so far, and look forward to a new season.

I will subscribe to Apple TV again to watch.

If Apple is looking to do things in media that separate me from my money, this an Apple Music do the trick.

Season 1 was great.

Season 2 was a soap opera focused on lazily written arguments/relationships on earth and forgot it was supposed to be a space show. pass.
I'm having a hard time getting through season 2. To be honest I forgot I didn't finish it. I'll have to go back and start watching again.

Season 2 was the best streaming show across all platforms during its window. Comparable to Mad Men level of writing.
Never watched Mad Men, but I thought season 2 was a bit too soap opera'ish for my likes.

I remember reading somewhere that there were going to be 4 seasons.. I really hope it doesn't end on Season 3 unless it comes with at least 24 episodes
Also hope it doesn’t end with S3. I had actually read that they were planning more seasons than that, so that it would catch up to current time, and even go a little further in the future, so I guess it’s still up in the air

This year Apple has really been pushing out some good content. They just need better media coverage, and marketing. How do they spend so much on the show, and push for the award nomination, but won’t push the marketing for the show.

I'll have to start up my subscription again. I love this show.
The storyline, visual effects and actors are top notch.

I do wonder how they're going to handle the inevitable fall of the Soviet Union.

Continuing the space race doesn't automatically fix the horrors of Communism.

I was honestly a little disappointed it just turned into "guns and cold war (sometimes hot) on the moon"

In any case - it should be interesting to see some new directions with key cast members gone moving forward.

Exactly!!!
Galactica was an amazing series. I may start watching it again.
I also liked The Expanse a lot.
Battlestar was fantastic. During the first year of the Pandemic, SyFy streamed the entire show in one marathon session. I recorded the entire 72 episodes on my DVR. Re-watched every single episode. Fantastic show.Especially considering they had to write 20+ episodes for a couple of seasons.

The Expanse is probably the most underrated spaced based sci-fi show ever. Great stuff. You really grew to love the crew of the Roci!!

I loved The Expanse. I’m about to finish the final book in the series. I hope that someone creates more seasons to cover the last three books someday.
The last three books really wrap the series up nicely. I don't know if you have read any of the novellas but they are must reading in my mind. They just released a book called Memory's Legions which is a collection of all the novellas released. It contains the last novella, which came out after the last full book (book 9), called The Sins of Our Fathers, which wraps up a story arc. If you've read books 7-9, you should get the collection. It has Strange Dogs, Drive, The Butcher of Anderson Station, and more. Great stories that flesh out the series.

Looking forward to it, but I don’t recall how s.2 ended right now. It was some time ago.
Have to rewatch last ep before 3 comes then ?

As long as Wrenn Schmidt comes back, nothing can go wrong. It´s difficult to find a bad show on ATV+ but this one is above the already high standard. Ok, Schmigadoon.......But Foundation? Or even Invasion?. I even loved SEE. ATV+ is far better then there image.

Fantastic show, can't wait for June 10 to get here. Especially after the end of Severance season one.
Finally someone talking about Severance. It's so good and yet flying so under the radar. Especially the last few episodes were so good. The music and cinematography are excellent. I love the aesthetic of the show.

For All Mankind is good too and I'm really looking forward to it! It's my third favorite behind Ted Lasso and Severance. It's a really interesting concept of having alternative history mixed with sci-fi and each season jumps forward in time by a considerable amount. My only critique is for a bit more action as some episodes can be slow but those lulls kinda prime you for the action and makes it more impactful, especially the repurcussions. In that way it's more realistic and feels grounded in plausibility since it's alternative history, so I guess it works. It also develops the characters well. I don't want to Michael Bay it up, but maybe crank up the action meter by 10-20% and it would be about perfect IMO.

Oh, that’s great! I’ll definitely get those. Thank you!

any good?
I hope it's not like lost in Space (Netflix)?
Other than space related, I dont think this really compares to Lost in Space.

Lost in space feels campy to me. I mean I watched 2 seasons of that show but the second season was more or less, what will they do now. I liked the "robot" and the ships but ehh. Anyway, my wife and I liked For All Mankind a lot. We had finished The Man in the High Castle before this came out so we already had an "alternate universe" type mindset of how some things can be subtle and other experiences can be vastly different.

This show isn't all space/science but has the drama that some call soap opera but I think it tries to show how there are politics, science, ego, and more involved in the space race from different perspectives.

Severance is not on the same Space-theme but a good one if you were ever a fan of LOST and want to be like WTF and be hooked at the same time.

If you are a fan of Lost and don't mind a bit of horror (not a ton but a bit) and like lots of questions to ponder, check out From on EPIX. What a mind trip! Last episode of the first season just aired last night. Wow!!

Yes I’m a huge fan of Lost so will definitely check out Severance.
