Oh my?? You made it sound like that line was some kind of problem. It's not....it's a necessary part of the jailbreak.

So, if you you are going to complain about problems with a particular jailbreak, at least complain about actual problems.

What a piece of work...no DUH it's necessary! That is the whole "actual problem".. you can't get rid of it. If I thought it was a serious enough problem or flaw, obviously I wouldn't have JB'n with it on my device smartypants, but I was just contrasting the difference between LR and jailbreakme.com...
Just thought I'd bump this since it was such a big deal to you that I pointed out the funkyline.

Everything is working fine for me, however, when I go to:

Settings/General/Usage - I don't get any data for Usage and Standby times since last full charge. There is always a blank for both of them.

Anyone know what the deal is?

I havent had any issues with Limera1n yet. I still have all of my icons even game center. So far its been good to me!!

I used limera1n RC1 (or whatever version was available late last Sunday) on my launch-day 3GS with 4.1 and haven't noticed any problems yet. All Cydia apps I've installed so far have worked fine.

I jailbroke with Limera1n earlier this morning and it was easy peasy. 2 minutes and done, no problems although I haven't had a chance to mess with it too much today.

Fully charge your battery and do not respring (or maybe even restart) and you'll have the times.
