Lot of typos, "the reliable Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, who often reveals accurate insights into Apple's plans" should have been written as, "the totally unreliable Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, who typically reveals inaccurate guesses into Apple's plans."

Would absolutely love a 16" MBP with all the rumored features like MagSafe, SD card reader, more ports etc. Then pair it with a Pro Display XDR.

The larger iMac, bring them on! 🤞🙏🏼

But I have come to the point….if not, and a Power Mac Mini comes I might take that one and buy 1-2 new screen(s).
My old iMac 2013 wants to retire or die, whatever Apple do with it when it goes in to them when I buy a new Mac.

Someday they will drop older Bluetooth versions so older iPhone devices won’t be able to connect to buds.

Actually in anticipation of a new Mini just for giggles I checked the trade in value of my base M1 Mini. I've had it for quite some time and bought it on sale at Micro Center for $579.00. Trade in to Apple? $520.00. Needles to say it now belongs to Apple. Waiting to see what the new Mini has to offer otherwise I'm going to buy a 16GB M1.

I really wanted to upgrade from my 2015 MBP, but the recent chip shortages likely mean that this will be an expensive machine, even for the base model.

I also got an M1 MBA for work not too long ago and with a new job coming up that supplies a laptop, I might just end up staying with the MBA.

while I'm not into getting the new pro I am looking very much forward to see where Apple is taking the M chip ... my iMac has a couple years to go ...

I really really really hope there'll also be an m1x mac mini alongside the macbooks.
I think it's a much better value, for my specific situation.

I don’t expect that Mac mini will come cheap…not to mention the added cost of a display, speakers etc.

If you’re looking for a powerful desktop, you may be better off waiting for the larger iMac in the spring of 2022.
