I do live in The Netherlands. We do have the Apple European Distribution Facilty here, from this Facility, Apple devices are being shipped throughout Europe. So I guess thats where this first batch is heading to.

I life close by this Facilty. I might stop by this week and try to get them out of that Facilty hehe
Anyone wants a pre pre order?

I'll set up a PayPal link :p

I'll see you on the international news at 6 sometime this week.

I feel like as long as you’re on the Apple Store app at 2:55AM and speed thru the process you should get a launch day iPhone X.

That’s my plan. I’m on the iPhone Upgrade Program so hopefully the preapproval that they introduced with iPhone 8 preorders comes back.
That’s my plan lol! It will be my first time doing so because in other years the Apple Store App did not have the T-Mobile option. Now that it does my finger is ready to click that button come 2:55 am lol!

Do u guys reckon the phones are shipping with 11.1?

If so we might just see public release sometime soon since it’s obviously gone GM if it’s loaded onto the X

Can pretty much guarantee they will as 11.1 is required for animojis and other functionality of the X.

I lost faith in the AppStore app during Apple Watch S3, got to ApplePay finger print and it was declined!
Had to enter the details manually losing valuable time, lucky I still got a launch day delivery but I don't think I'll be so lucky for the iPhoneX.
Weird cause I use the card for ApplePay often, maybe it was a big purchase that stopped the AMEX.

While I understand setbacks in production, I don’t understand why they are still having them this late in the game. I can’t imagine anyone (who refreshes their phone yearly) would purchase this 6 months into the lifespan of the phone when 6 months after that I new refresh would take place.

If I can’t get this phone by the end of 2017, I’ll just wait for the next one (XI/11).

Yep.

That’s 2:55 AM PT, for those of you out there hoping to preorder and be first in line :winking emoji:

// edited with emoji because animoji insertion not yet supported on MR

They ****ing better do the preapproval, besides, it gives them an idea of how many servers might crash at 3:01am (edt).

So based on iPhone 6 weekend sales of 10,000,000 https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2014/09/22First-Weekend-iPhone-Sales-Top-10-Million-Set-New-Record/
they only need to make 9,953,500 more!!.
sorry but this is as good (bad) as delaying 'X'.

Apple employ 100,000 staff, they get first dibs - so it looks good in apple stores. Not even enough to go round for them

Also worth noting:

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK and will be available in more than 20 additional countries on September 26. The new iPhones will be available in 115 countries by the end of the year.

That was a rollout process. The X is launching worldwide, so I'm sure that number will be much higher. It's about to be a blood bath lol.

Your macrumors username 'Psion'- its a Psion 5 with cellular.

I’ve never heard of it. And I don’t see Psion 5 upon a scroll, meaning they can’t even market their product correctly.

Besides it’s PsionicSin. Psionic relating to or denoting the practical use of psychic powers or paranormal phenomena lol.

Not that it matters, demand for this phone will be non-existent. Everyone hates the notch and hates face id right?

Lol. Lol. Lol.

Good luck everyone.

I know, I saw those numbers and thought the same thing...

I’ll wait until next year when the craze dies down a bit.

To be honest, if you look back at Apple's past "new tech" v1.0 rollouts theres often issues (Macs mostly, but wouldn't be surprised here)...so this isn't such a bad idea from a "not having a flaky device" possibility of things.

they are boxed at Foxconn. Pretty sure Apple isn’t going to unbox them flash them and rebox them...

If anything 11.1 is ready to release and if so we’ll see it soon and 11.1.1 will be released soon after the X releases to finish any exisiting bugs and new issues from the X
This... you cannot open a DEP device and update the iOS.
