Free Case Progam

Anyone not taking a free case?

...out of loyalty to Apple or whatever reason? The app does say you can order a free case if you have been experiencing reception issues, so what if you haven't been experiencing issues?

I'll be ordering a case, but just wondered if some people wouldn't on principle.

I'm trying to stay away from the plastic cases that tend to scratch the phone and let more dust in.

Either 3-5 weeks is to allow enough time for Apple to verify that the phone wasn't returned, or that time will vary wildly from person to person, and some of us will get them sooner than others. It's impossible that they don't have SOME cases/bumpers on hand that they could ship faster than that. I'm betting they'll be watching returns, and canceling free cases for anyone who returns their phone. I want to call them bastards, but that makes good business sense.

I ordered the Incase Snap Case (smoke) b/c I already have the bumper and this seemed to be the thinnest option. I hate bulky cases. Anyone know anything about the Incase though?

I didn't receive my refund yet but hope to see it in a few days. I put an order in thru the app too and it let me.

Apple Bumper for me, didn't want anything that covered the back really, just needed something to solve the signal issue and the bumper does just that

So I went with the Speck PixelSkin HD based on the very nice review. I did have a bumper but noticed it was very loose which let in small dust that has scratch the sides (not that big of a deal but still...) and I need something to protect the back so this will become my primary case since I'm using a naked iPhone 4 right now.

But as far as the email notification..I've seen some reports that people have got theres right after selecting there free case but no email here. Same for some of you??
 
will they still sell the other colour bumpers?

Do you reckon i can cancel my order if the other colours show up?

Yes no confirmation email yet...I ordered about 15 mins ago.....hmmm well hopefully in a bit so I won't be paranoid lol

I doubt it considering they probably would have put the color bumpers up already if that was an option, unfortunately. All black cases are kinda lame but they do the job.

so if youve gotten 2 free bumpers already is there any way to screw the system and get a 30 bucks back each for them in the apple store and just say you bought them with cash and dont have a receipt?

Apple made 14.7 BILLION dollars in 3 months - I think they can afford to give cases out to loyal customers with or without the reception issue.
