Freebies in line?

Today while I was in line, they were giving out free bagels and water from about 6-10, and at 10 they gave out free cookies, then at noon they served us free pizza. I unfortunately didn't get one before they ran out, so I will be there again tommorow when the next shipment comes in. How were all of your experiences waiting in line? xD
 
my store was giving out smart water coffee and dunkin doughnuts, as i was leaving the apple store a guy from sbarro had like ten pizzas in his hand.....
 
At Scottsdale Quarter, they gave us scones, muffins, fresh fruit cups, and steve water.

They were also handing out Apple branded black umbrellas to cover people waiting in line from the sun...they were asking for them back after you got your phone, but I somehow ended up walking out with one :)

Nope

Knox store gave out Smart Water and umbrellas (after I got my phone) for shade. Wild About Harry's was handing out coffee and water as well. Wouldn't be surprised if they did some sort of samples later.

The Knox store is running like a well oiled machine. I suggest going there, even if it is a long drive.
 
At the North Star mall location in San Antonio they were giving out water, They were also giving out breakfast tacos. Bean and Cheese or Potato and Egg...MMM good after being out there for over four hours! I am pretty sure it was them, but there were catering type people around. They had plenty for those inside and a lot of the folks outside. Didn't stick around in and out in 20 minutes :)
 
They were giving out starbucks coffee and krispy cream donuts this morning. When I was leaving they started to give our Chipotle burritos.

They were also coming along and giving out bottles of water.

Apple really takes care of their customers :D
 
Free umbrellas the afternoon before to shade the sun and water right before the mall closed in Tacoma, WA.
 
Yup.

Got a bottle of Smart Water and a free commemorative t-shirt for the Apple Store's grand opening in Cerritos.

Good vibes all-around at the Apple Store. Lots of cheering and clapping even three hours after it opened as I got there about 10:15am. Everyone in the store just seemed excited. Good times. A definite thumbs up (at least from me) with this launch experience.
 
At the University Park Apple Store in Ft. Worth, TX we got as much free water as we could drink, free Starbucks and free umbrellas. Yes, umbrellas. Texas is hot.

Vitamin Waters, Smart Waters, Bottled Waters, Chips, Granola Bars, Icees, Pizza. I was surprised they had enough and lots of extras for the queue line at Roosevelt Field mall.

this morning in charlotte NC buymeaniphone.com was there handing out tshirts iphone life magazines and sweet iphone4 cases...very nice case actually, i was stoked. chick-fil-a had carts full of chicken nuggets brownies and iced tea and starbucks was filling up a giant coffee dispenser every hour, we were all well fed, i must of had 15 chicken nuggets and about 3 brownies. my 8 hour wait was a little less brutal because of all this. thanks guys!
 
I only waited on the line (inside a mall) for 30 minutes but we were served mango ices, twice!

Oh, I didn't have a reservation.
 
Nothing I got from the Lynnwood Apple store. I went back cause some glitch had some seminar running the same day and it looked like they bought some cookies from the grocery store but maybe they wre just eating it amongst the employees (There certainly weren't enough for customers).

I did get some crappy t-shirt and a silicon case from some advertising site that wanted to get people to wear the shirt and take pictures of themselves in line before opening time (he was there around 3 am I guess). Apparently if you did you'd get entered in some contest.
 
At Willowbend mall in Frisco, TX they gave us free California Pizza kitchen pizza slices. There was quite a selection and they seemed to be happy to give out as many as you would like to have! :p Someone else said they gave out Chick-Fil-A earlier.
 
i guess the food is proportional to the wait. I only got a water when i waited in line for the iPad 3G. Next to a guy who was buying 2 without knowing what it does.
