Mine was missing bits of the 'iPhone' text out of the box. (Jet Black 7 Plus)

I can see those luxury brands that sell modified iPhones to the rich taking advantage of this feature.

Owners should be extra careful? Really? I didn't realize the fine print on the back of the phone was required for the phone to function properly. Sheesh.

So if you do it enough, does the writing come off completely? Because that might be a selling point. :)

Why did they include the FCC logos when they were able to get them removed from the SE?

I'd be in favor of this but in any case it's difficult to get paint adhesion on a very smooth surface. If you've ever painted a metal object before you likely know that you scuffed the surface first to give the paint something to attach to. I'm not surprised that this ultra smooth surface has this problem.

I realized already when cleaning the JB with a microfiber cloth, that it seems almost as if some of the writing smudged around.

If the labels are stencilled or screened rather than laser etched, I can see it coming off from that highly polished surface.

My Jet Black 7+ doesn't have any of that bottom line crap shown in the picture.
