Not that this holds a whole lot of credibility, but I did notice that Mac Mall I got today just started down the rebate path for all of their Core 2 Duo MBPs and the Cinema Displays. Isn't that sometimes indicative of a new product launch?

Will it scratch too easily when I go jogging with it.

Can I buff out these scratches with brasso?

Can I sue Apple if it scratches just by looking at it?

Will they replace it with brushed aluminium model so it looks like at 2 foot square iPod mini?

No I will wait for the Rev C+.....unless the apple logo on he front is in gold and the power light in neon blue🙂

Ok, I dont want to get flamed so I will start off by saying a have no problem indorsing or supporting pruduct red But, I think a red iMac would burn my eyes. I just dont think solid red would look good with an iMac I cant stand the color ware version.

I agree, I do not think that It would look good.

However I have a huge problem with supporting (red).
Do you actually believe that much of the money goes to Africa?. why is it that Gap give 5 dollars to the effort for every (red) bag that they sell for $200, that is regularly arround $50.

(red) is a dishonest scheme, additionally It seems that a lot of the money that it had raised is tied up in beauracracy. (red) refuses to tell us where the money actually goes.

I like the idea of combating AIDS in Africa, but (red) is a really bad way of doing it. I dont really like the UN's projects for fighting AIDS in Africa, but I think that you would proably get a little more money were it is needed by giving it to them. I do however believe that there are many honest charities arround that can really help AIDS and africa and are not just fronts allowing stores to dishonestly jack up prices, and allowing bono to increase his image, and buy a new boat.

Guys it was reported in the Gadet section of a UK Sunday News paper that apple will be releasing "Their top spec iMacs in black" early next month.

This makes sense as Apple like everyone else is waiting on intel, so they have to do something, no matter how small in the meantime, I just hope they crank up the gfx

Ok, a quick search on Google News (as of right now) shows it to be stuff from last week. The unnamed newspaper is likely recycling old material.

A black iMac would be beautiful, however it would only work if the stand were black as well. Red would probably be too strong a color, but then again that might be why people would want one. Personally, I'd like to see Apple bring back some color options for iMacs if only to give it some of the personality it once had.
