Why the hell did they go flat? This is the ugliest version of the Mac OS (or System) ever. Never upgrading. =/

Agreed, but Im sure they will also disable features in pre 10.10 to force people to upgrade

They're bringing up the perecentage numbers of adoption. It looks good on a slide, but in real numbers, its a misleading statistic.

"only 14% of users adopted windows 8".

What they're not telling you is that 14% of windows 7 and earlier users upgrading to Win8 vastly outstrips the actual population of OSx users.

Search diversity will be a nice touch, that said, I don't really want to find things on the net, when I am looking for items on my system.

This is the same crap Ubuntu pulled, which drew in Amazon and other unwanted sponsored searches and made the search function a real chore.
