Wonder if selecting text in Safari url bar is still going to be terrible. Oh, and the keyboard/auto-correct.

Blackberry has had quicktype for a year. And you flick from the keyboard and the next letter in the word. It is more intuitive and that the flick is where your eyes are from looking at keyboard.

Will do!

In android they are capable to choose the version they want, the dont like kit-kat, they can go back to another one they like. Adopt iOS7, youre stuck with iOS7, like it or not. Fragmentation is not present in iOS as users have no choice once they upgrade. Android users have their freedom to revert. 'Fragmentation' isnt always a bad thing IMO

That's a ridiculous argument. A lot of android users don't have a choice. You're referring to the tiny niche of users who are tech savvy enough to know how to root and install custom roms.

But a lot don't have the choice to even upgrade, let alone revert.

Probably not the best place, but OSX is different from iOS in that we can revert back whenever right? Ive made an install of Mavericks on my USB, can I revert back 2 years from now if I want? Or are there Apple certificates like in iOS?

Yup! You're able to switch back to an earlier OS, as long as your hardware supports that OS. (ie, you can reinstall Snow Leopard on a 2010 MacBook Pro because that was the OS it shipped with, but you supposedly cannot install SL on a 2013 Retina MacBook Pro.

So if you install Yosemite and decide you do not like the update, you can reinstall Mavericks to your system. Sent from my MacBook Pro.

It's not that they can't take shots ... it's that the shots are so transparently misleading. Comparing adoption percentage of Windows 8 and OSX Mavericks (ignoring difference in installbase, the fact that one was a free upgrade, etc etc etc). The same with Android ... over 50% in China from Android to Apple (because, you know, Apple and Android has been an official choice before).

But all companies do that. Microsoft said 96% of iPad users also have a PC. Ok well how many of those people had these. PC's BEFORE they got their iPad (like me)? And how many hardly ever use their PC once they go their iPad (like me).

It's still only 14%

It is easy to claim you have a higher percentage when your user base represents less than 10% of the entire installed user base of the planet. Why didn't they post the raw numbers of installations. Maybe because they didn't wanna show that 14% of the entire Windows installed base is still more than the entire installed base of all OS X versions combined.

I do agree that everyone does it,

and we have every right to call Microsoft out for doing it too!
(I probably did during that keynote, I can't remember)

Simple but incredibly handy Group SMS features.

Speaking of DND ... needs geolocation and day of the week (combined with hour and the other override rules and whatnot)

predictive text, voice text, androids had it for years.

I want to be able to set default apps. And have 3rd party apps aware of other 3rd party apps for sharing.
And a notification LED and a back button.

Then we'll talk.

I always like the crowd shots ... gives me a better feel for the Apple eaters.

What's with all the Comrade Shirts the Apple people wear?
