No one for sure, but many 'experts', including Dalrymple (who is oftern right) have suggested there won't be.

He didn't say there won't be any new hardware. He said 'nope' to a cheap iMac and 8GB 5S.

Why wouldn't Apple cover all of the banners? Didn't the know that they would be leaking Yosemite/iOS8? Even though it was a given both new OS' would be announced, did they just give up and say, "hey, they're already predicting the right thing." Doesn't make much sense to me...

It gets people excited and talking. Imagine if nothing was leaked and all the banners were covered up. What would people be excited about leading to the WWDC?

Okay guys! This is it! WWDC14! I'm heading downstairs now to boot up my Apple TV and get comfortable! I'll see you all on here on the other side! :apple:

The last two years it went down two hours before the event. Not the case this year, new hardware unlikely. New hardware could be revealed just not released yet.

This is true, and could be true. A lot of people were hoping for some Mac Mini items. But you may be right, no actual hardware today.. :(

each year is different. they used to announce new phones at WWDC. Then they stopped doing that. doesn't mean they won't again

I won't expect any iPhones this WWDC. But I could be wrong idk...lets just wait and see ;)

I'm pretty excited about this year WWDC since today I'm releasing my first OS X application — Monochrome. I'm also a 7 years Mac user and 7 years MacRumors reader. I'm glad that today I decided to join this community.

Looking forward to see the new OS X 10.10 design.
