FuriousMod 2.0.0 Questions
First, many thanks to @Keyokee & @mcbaron15 & the many others on this tread. @Keyokee, your repo actually loads on my device as opposed to the official cydia.furiousmod.com repo, which always comes up with loading errors ("failed to fetch... bad URL", etc), leading to an empty repo.
Before I found @Keyokee's repo, I was using a hacked FuriousMod 1.x? for iOS 5 of unknown origin from mediafire (
http://t.co/5zYz4cQv) (yes, sketchy I know, but I was desperate) installed via iFile, but even it never worked without a lot of fooling around (settings/phone/SIM application, sometimes 112/airplane mode, praying, sometimes just mysterious cyber-whims?). Battery life seemed to be quite good, though the unlock was unstable across reboots.
Now with FuriousMod 2.0.0 from your repo, all seems to be well, and it seems to hold after multiple reboots. And, my EDGE data works fine when Data Roaming is turned on. The SBSettings toggle add-on is great for this.
I have a couple of questions for the group, if you wouldn't mind sharing your experiences with FuriousMod 2.0.0 with a newbie:

1. 3G. I'm about to get a new 3G Vodafone SIM here in India. What have been people's experiences with 3G service with Gevey Ultra and furiousmod2.0.0?
2. battery consumption: @smashfreak13 mentioned earlier in the thread about improved battery life with furiousmod 1.x mods for iOS 5. Does anyone have thoughts about furiousmod2.0.0 and battery life? At first I was draining quickly, now it may have stabilized, I will do more accurate testing (6 hrs standby no data no wifi overnight, and report back).
3. Authentic Gevey Ultra vs. Fake? I got my Gevey Ultra from cutyoursim.com in Sept 2011. From the applenberry picture comparison, it looks to me like I have a genuine Ultra. The first two pictures on applenberry seem to be exactly alike except for the color/tone of the embossing material (am I missing something?). The third picture, with the dot between the middle horizontal line of the "E" and the "Y" in GEVEY (with the circle and arrow and "authentic" or something overwritten on it) is more clear, and my Gevey DOES have this dot. Attached are pictures of the packaging (red package front). Could anyone help clear this up for me?
Thanks so much for all of your time and guidance, Jeremy
