Well, I preordered a white 256 Gb XR, hoping that the screen will be as flicker free as their previous LCD phones. Last year I owned an iPhone X for 10 days before returning it with heavy heart. The OLED screen is absolutely gorgeous, and I wish I could have used it, but alas, Apple chose to implement a ridiculously low 240 Hz pulse width modulation frequency on their OLED screens, which triggers eyestrain and headaches in some users. You would think that a company like Apple would be able to see beyond the dollar sign and supply the best of the best, but in this case, they did not. Again, if you don't have problems with OLED flickering, then the OLED is the way to go. The clarity, the colours, the intensity of the contrast... there is no comparison. For me, it's a no go. Let's hope the XR will be the answer for me.
