Galaxy Note 3

Meh. I'm back at a dilema again. My contract is up Oct 16th. But I'm wondering if it's a good time to upgrade...like should I wait? Galaxy Note 3, iPhone 5S....those are the only ones I'm considering right now.

My biggest reason for going ahead to upgrade is: 1. The iPhone 4S will have lost half it's value in a year 2.Why keep paying ATT money each month when I'm not getting a $500+ discount?

Just...two years..again.
 
If you have no plans on leaving AT&T, there's no reason not to upgrade. You're paying the same monthly rate whether you get a subsidized phone or not.

If you plan to stay with AT&T, now is the best time to upgrade. Just about every major phone has been announced for the 2013. And if you have a subsidy available, use it!

Hey - can someone who has the Note 3 run Geekbench 3 on it and post results?

I like to keep track of the results from various phones, and given the Note 3 is supposed to the beast to end all beastly phones I figure I should have the "king" in my notes 😀

Siri tells me that's $954 / $1,030 😱

But I think we end up getting devices for the same amount, regardless of currency - so $650. I always though the Note series devices were roughly $100 more than iPhones and Galaxy S devices....

Yeah 954 dollars.. Not cheap but I did sell my iPhone 5 and will sell my S4
