The first couple versions won't work very well, but Samsung will get a free pass because expectations are extremely low and it's ok for them to copy because they're a Korean company. I don't think 3D touch will be a success on Android, unless all manufacturers get on the same boat. On the other hand, Apple please stop making phones thinner and increase battery capacity instead.

Apple's obsession with thinness needs to stop. Not only does it compromise internals, it also makes devices difficult to hold.

It won't work unless Google push it to stock android. Devs aren't going to support a million versions on 3D Touch clones in they app. Samsung should focus they time on something else or court Google to push this out.

I am surprised Samsung felt to copy that feature. It won't be very useful on Android. Apple should offer two thicknesses. One with more battery power, the other is just thinner. Let the consumer decide.
