I know the mover's coupon does not work online. What I am thinking about doing and asking about is ordering it online, and then taking it into the store once I receive it to return/rebuy with the discounts and trade in.

i don't know if they will let you repurchase the same iPad you just returned, but I wouldn't count on it. My BB wouldn't even let me order a 64gb wifi space grey.

Look carefully, I didn't notice it the first time either. It's not a loose leaf coupon. It's a perforated coupon attached to the actual address change form, should be the last item in the stack.

I went to the post office and picked up a mover's guide, but it didn't have the Best Buy coupon anywhere. There were only a Progressive and a Disney coupon attached to the address change form.

I then picked up another mover's guide at another post office. This one had the Best Buy coupon.

The mover's guide without the Best Buy coupon was "PUB. 75 VOL. 63" and did not have a Best Buy logo on the envelope cover.

The mover's guide with the Best Buy coupon was "PUB. 75 VOL. 66" and did have a Best Buy logo.

I was able to use the mover's coupon + $50 trade-in coupon at my Best Buy here in Phoenix, but when my mom tried to do this at a Chicago-area Best Buy store, they absolutely refused to take the mover's coupon.

My mom traded in her first-gen iPad mini (16GB Wi-Fi) and received a $150 gift card and $50 coupon towards an iPad Air 2. When she presented the 10% mover's coupon, the manager spent 30 minutes examining the fine print on both coupons and finally decided that, because the $50 trade-in coupon states "Not valid with any other offers," she could not use the mover's coupon. She even gave the manager a copy of my receipt from the Phoenix store showing that they took both the $50 coupon and the mover's coupon, but the guy would not budge. She ended up just forgoing the additional 10% from the mover's coupon and using only the $150 gift card + $50 coupon.

I'm thinking of reaching out to Best Buy's corporate office to see what they have to say about these inconsistencies.

I had no trouble at all doing a return/repurchase.

I wouldn't waste my time. These mover's coupons are accepted at some and not others. It has been like this all summer with iPads, MacBooks, etc. Some managers are strict, some don't care. You won't get anywhere with corporate. I think during the summer, corporate even told all store managers to stop accepting them for MacBooks.

I traded in my iPad Mini 1 towards a new 128GB Air 2. BestBuy has a promotion that gives you an extra $50 off coupon when trading in. Combined that with the 10% off Movers coupon and BOOM: a $700 iPad Air 2 is now $585. Using $160 gift card given for iPad Mini 1 turn in and I paid $425 + tax. ;)

Best Buy gave me $200 for the Mini that I paid $199 for at Walmart 3 months ago.... not a bad deal. I also made it a point to stop off at the post office for the Best Buy 10% off movers coupon. Thanks OP!

I got the Air 2 128GB in Gold.... LTE version. Free activation and it's only an extra $10 a month on my Verizon plan.

I know the mover coupon DOES WORK online. I ordered my 64gb Wi Fi Space Gray + Cellular , applied the mover coupon online for 10% off, and it was delivered to my local BB today. I took my 32gb Air in and they made the trade for another $301 + $50 off , and am typing on it now.

Not arguing, just trying to help.

There must be multiple versions of the coupon. I ordered mine tonight online after they couldn't process the order at the local Best Buy (Their order system was down). I tried to to use the movers coupon multiple times but it wouldn't accept it. Kept saying it was invalid coupon. The customer service guy said when I go to pick it up just remind him and he will do a refund/repurchase and get the coupons on it.

Did you type it in their "Promotional Code" box because I have a non expired Mover's Coupon and it rejected it. But, it's interesting to note that the coupon notes that the coupon cannot be used at Bestbuy.com so you must have gotten really lucky!

Was able to get this done today in SoCal..got the iPad Air 2 64GB in Gold..out the door 255..traded in my iPad 4th Gen for 287.00, got the additional 50 dollar coupon, and I used the movers coupon, the associate had no issue doing it she was super sweet..she threw the coupon away after she was done scanning it but I still have a copy at home LOL wonder if I can use it again, still have the online code..gonna turn on this baby tomorrow and see how it looks..as far as defects or anything what should I look for, been reading some of the crazy stories here so dont know if I need to be overly paranoid when checking it out

Which Phoenix area BB did you go to? I'm about to try the exact same thing (I'm also in PHX) and would rather spare myself the headache by going to a store that honors this. Any chance you could post your receipt so I can go in armed with it?

Will they trade in Apple smart cases too? It sucks that I spent 80 dollars on something that hardly has any resale value. I really love this case and it sucks I have to spend another 80 bucks for another one.

Went to the store at 20th St. and Camelback. I'll try to post my receipt tomorrow.

Yes, I entered the promotional code off of the movers coupon on the
Bestbuy.com website in the "Promotional Code" box and it took 10% off my order.

Does the $50 trade in coupon work if you trade in an iPhone?

I have an iPhone 5 in perfect condition and an 4th Gen iPad in perfect condition (both 32 GB; iPhone is Verizon, iPad is wifi only). I was hoping to get 2 $50 coupons on top of the value of both devices.

I'm looking to buy a 64 GB SG iPad Air 2

I believe the $50 promo is for trading your old iPad or iPad Mini (it's less for the mini,) so you'll only get 1 $50 coupon. I don't see anything about an extra coupon for trading your iPhone, and I haven't seen any posts from those trading an iPad and an iPhone getting two coupons. You never know, seems like each BB store has their own way of doing things.

Thanks for that. I really want to get this iPad Air 2 ASAP (before this promo expires which I think is next week). I don't know when the next shipment of iPads are coming in, but one employee at BB was nice enough to tell me that Apple shipments usually come in on Tuesdays. I'm hoping that's the case.

Does anyone with experience in store shipments know if the shipments come in before the store opens or is it sometime during the day?

Has anyone had success with a trade in in the DC area? I tried today at the Columbia Heights Best Buy in the District and customer service told me they could only do the trade ins on iPads purchased originally at Best Buy for the DC locations. I'm hoping MD or VA have different policies.

I wish I could help, I'm in NJ. You might try calling some stores and asking. It seems the individual stores can pretty much honor or not honor whatever they want.

"Not available in all locations and some stores may have additional limitations."

Yeah that surprised me too, fortunately my 3 actually was bought at bb. Rockville bb requires it.

Drove from philly to Delaware to avoid the sales tax and the "don't accept" the 10% coupon... Then I plugged it in to the online order and it worked so they had to accept it at the store. Spent 331 after trading in my iPad 3 cellular. For an iPad Air 2 16gb cellular

----------

Also the other issue was that the $50 coupon printed out only good for the mini 3 and the air 2 was no longer good. Had to get that overridden

May I ask where in the check out process you "plugged in" the code. Another member got it to work but I tried and it wouldn't take it under their "Promotional Codes" section at the Check Out process. The other 2 options that wouldn't work naturally were the Reward Certificates and the Gift Cards which require you to add the card's PIN. Thanks also!

Thanks for your response! I tried and still no dice. I entered the super long code very, very carefully into the Promotional Code section at the Check Out page where you had 2 options to use a Giftcard or RewardZone Certificates. It just said that code doesn't exist and to check it out and re-enter. The 10% Off Mover's card is valid till 12/31/2014 with the exception of Black Friday.
