Going to get it at Apple Store I guess. Anyone know of any deals from them?

2 ways to get a discount.
If you are or know an educator, all they need is their teacher ID at time of purchase.

Or some companies that use a lot of Apple products are able to offer company discounts. I worked for State Farm and got the discount as a perk in store or online, and the company I work for now also offers the discount. It comes out to a small discount of 2-3% but it is still better than nothing :)

I got the iPad Space Gray 128GB LTE for $812
Applecare Plus for $89
Apple Smart Cover for $35 and could had gotten the Smart Case for $71

Thanks for the info.

Local BB now has the grey, so I'm going to post office today and try and get a movers coupon

Let you know if it works

got my 64 GB iPad Air 2 yesterday.

Had to fight for 5 minutes to get them to accept the mover's coupon.

clerk: "Sorry sir. That's not valid on Apple products"

me: It doesnt' say that anywhere on the coupon

other employee walks over:"It's on the website. Excludes Unilateral Minimum Resale Price items. The clerk can scan the coupon and it might accept it but it's not supposed to and the clerk can't risk his job for that" (that BB employee walks away)

I continue the fight because that last employee walked away and the one with me seems much more friendly. Pull up the website on my iPhone. "It doesn't say it anywhere here" Two more employees show up. (actually when I checked again later it does say 'Excludes Unilateral Minimum Resale Price Products' but myself and the other employees left forgot or don't know about that)

them: "Right here, sir"

me: "No, that says Apple-branded accessories"

them: "OK, let's try it. Nope. It's not taking it."

me: "Start the transaction over and scan the coupon first"

them: "Okay, it took it." followed by a sarcastic "have a good day, sir" from one of them.

Oh, and all this after they told me they didn't have the iPad Air 2 in stock in Space Gray but I told them their website shows this location has it in stock. They check the stockroom. "Yeah, we had 30 back there".

I just went to BB and did this. 301 + 50 trade in coupon + 10% off movers coupon. A very good way to upgrade from the Air to the Air 2. Quick and painless compared to eBay flipping to upgrade.

Great deal, thanks all!

today i got a space grey iPad Air 2 (128gb) at Best Buy in Champaign IL.
i traded an ipad 2 (16gb) for $150 and 5th gen iPod touch (32g) for $70 + the $50 iPad trade-in promo + 10% mover's coupon.
the trade was smooth. gave me a give card for $220 + a printed receipt for the $50 off.
the clerk ringing up the sale looked over the mover's coupon saying she'd never seen it before.
she shrugged her shoulders and scanned it. all good.
final price was $422.36.

also... i tried to trade in an iPad 4 (128gb) refurb that i bought direct from apple a few months ago. but the model number starts with an "F" instead of "M" and they said that don't take refurbs on trade. i was hoping to get another $300+ on the trade. but no-go.

so i'll probably sell that one on eBay or to a friend.

Really? man, my iPad air is a refurbished too.

yeah, i didn't even think about them not taking refurbs. according to the best buy website, the iPad 4 (128gb) is worth $337 on trade-in. but they wouldn't take it because it has a refurb model number.

This really sucks. I read best buy's trade in faqs and doesn't mention about refurbs.

Anyone else had a succes trading their refurbished iPad?

Tomorrow is Saturday. Anybody going to Best Buy for the extra $50?

BTW, where is the $50 gift card on Saturday 1-3 PM mentioned? I can't find reference of it on their ad. I've only read about it here.

Right here. But looks like the gift card is all day, not just 1-4.

Anything on there saying we can't use the 10% movers coupon AND get the $50 giftcard?

Or is it one or the other? I actually am going in to price match and get the 18 month no interest financing tomorrow. Will try to use the 10% movers too. Hopefully will get the $50 GC. But I'm not holding my breath.

Where on the site does it say the gift card offer is all day?

Literally above the picture of the iPad Air 2.

"ONE DAY ONLY DEALS. IN STORE ONLY.
Offers valid Saturday, November 8, 2014."

What are you price matching? Air 2?

That would be ok with me, but at the top of the ad, it says 1-4 pm at select stores.

Need the $50 gift card to buy more stuff. They really aren't losing in this deal:D

Price matching and movers coupons do NOT stack. No idea about the 50 dollar store credit though. I am taking my receipt from this past Tuesday when I bought a price-matched Air 1 to see if they'll give it to me.

I bought mine two saturdays ago. Will also try a return rebuy.

I'm price matching the $50 GC and also the 18 mo no interest financing that they started this month... Also there was a whole fiasco with my cards and I had to pay on the wrong Best Buy card I have (I have 2) and I wanted it on the other one. The sales person on the original day said I could switch come back switch credit cards...

Does anyone know what happens to your $50 trade in credit if you return the iPad Air 2? Do you get the Coupon back? It seems a bit ambiguous, but what they're going to have to do for me is return my whole purchase and then re-buy the entire sale and charge it to my other card. Any probably can't use the mover coupon then right? I'd assume it'd be double dipping with the gift card...

Yeah, screw buying Apple products or accessories from eBay. Such a joke.

Tonight (Friday Evening) I returned my 16GB iPad Air 2 and then purchased a 64GB model. The coupon did not print again. They just had a supervisor come over with their key/code to finalize a $50 price adjustment on the new item to make up for the lack of the coupon from my trade in. They said they didn't have a way to generate the coupon again and this was the only way to do it.

I just picked up a Space Grey 64GB Air 2 Cellular from Best Buy. Used the movers coupon for $73 off with no issues whatsoever, the guy simply scanned it without question. I then took it to an AT&T store and signed it up for 2 years to get a $100 credit. I really wanted the 128GB version but I'm happy.
