I purchased my Air 2 3 days ago. I'm hoping I can simply walk in with receipt and they will match the deal and issue me a $50 gift card. To be on the safe side I will bring my iPad with me just in case they try to refuse me the deal. I will then just simply return it and re buy it.

YMMV is correct...as I have over 30 Best Buys in a 25 mile radius of my location, and at times I have received conflicting information from one store to another depending on what promotion is running.

Just getting back from local BestBuy buying an Air 2 64GB with LTE.
Traded in ipad mini (first gen) - got $150 plus $50 Air 2 coupon (some head scratching by customer services about the mini but they took it;
Used Mover's coupon;
Got $50 Gift Card with my purchase (there was no question about the timing of this being all day or from 1 to 4pm).
So...
$729 (before tax) - $200 (from mini trade) - 10% - $10 in BestBuy rewards + $50 BestBuy gift card. Very pleased...

Just came back from BB, they misinformed me on the phone, the gift card offer is valid all day.
Was able to use the 10% off coupon on a 64 GB space grey Wifi model, and still got the $50 gift card. Invested the gift card straight into a smart cover.
Awesome deal, I doubt BF deals at BB will be any better, considering you won't be able to use the coupon then. They will probably just hand out $50 or $100 gift cards with an iPad Air.

I just got back and they do indeed allow both. They rang through my movers coupon, and then added a 50 dollar gift card. I was very pleased.
They lied to you or they don't know. I just got the $50 GC at 10am when the store opened here in LA. It is automatic.
That's true, I was there at 12pm and got the $50 card. Over heard afterwards an employee tell a lady "Today you get a $50 gift card." so its not just 4 hours.

Since mine was a "return and rebuy" their system actually wouldn't let both the movers coupon and the manual $50 discount work (which needs to be done if you did the iPad 2 trade in) at the same time. I think they could have if they did the coupon first and then did an additional $50 but the girl at customer service wouldn't do it for me. But I did get the $50 GC and moved my sale to a BB credit card to get 18 month no interest financing. So a small "win" for me... didn't get the additional $59 off but you can't win them all, right?

I was able to do a return and rebuy to get the gift card today. I had used the movers coupon on my original purchase. They said they were making an exception but they had trouble doing it. Took about 30 minutes over all. The customer service line was about 6 deep with only 2 clerks. Initially they attempted to add the gift card manually but it prompts on their end automatically to add it when purchasing.
When I had initially used my movers coupon, I had them scan it before anything else, then scan the Air 2, then add the $50 off from trading in my iPad Mini and then I paid with the gift card from the trade $150 and paid the difference.

No, when you buy the iPad Air or Air 2 it comes up as a free $50 gc that they give to you after you pay. You'd have to use the $50 GC for something else.
The $50 I got was the "bonus deal" for trading in an iPad 2 and buying an Air 2. I originally got it on release day but I went in to switch credit card payments and "price match" my iPad Air 2.

i was able to use the $50 trade in coupon, movers coupon, and also got a $50 gift card.

Just got back and I received my $50 BB gift card by just supplying my receipt showing that I purchased it a few days ago. It was a in and out deal...less than 2 minutes overall.
When I initially purchased my 16GB Wifi iPad Air 2, I applied $45 of my BB certificates towards it bringing my total out the door cost to $493. With the $50 coupon I essentially ended up paying $443 out the door. Not bad!!
I don't know if this applies in your area but the BB nearest to me and where I purchased my iPad wouldn't honor the deal. I had to go to another one 6 miles away that was actually holding the special event. I drilled the CS Rep that her store should be able to honor the BB GC special, however she stood her ground and stated it's only valid at certain store locations...of course as always YMMV when it comes to BB.
