I just ordered a Sport 38mm with the Blue Band to see if these ship sooner than the June date too. I have a paid developer account and it's the same one I used for all my Apple purchases. :apple:

This is the order I just placed. I'll update when it prepares for shipment.

Former paid Developer, order processed at 1:11 pacific time 24th. 42mm blue.

Will update if any changes occur.

paid dev, and this makes since now.

you will see in the top threads, i made one about getting the 38mm blue sport within 24 hours. def vouch for this.

Nope. None of them were developers. I am not and I ordered yesterday. It's preparing to ship right now, so I'm pretty sure it will arrive before the end of the month as they already charged my card.

If you've really never accessed the dev portal before, the estimated ship date listed on the Apple Online Store is nonsense and the watch actually isn't sold out - which I highly doubt. Weird.

So this would apply to both 38mm & 42mm it would seem?

2 scenarios
1. No one is buying the blue - lots of 42mm and 38mm, so it doesn't matter if you are dev or not, because all orders going through appear to be processing within 24-48 hours for this model (both 42mm and 38).

2.This Apple employee miss communicated that this dev priority applies to both 38mm & 42mm blue versions.

Strange indeed.

old hat, been in the news.

I referenced the previous news about this in links throughout the post. This is new news. The registration closed, but anyone that's in the dev program, paid or unpaid, can still order for expedited shipment is the point.

Okay, maybe it's new news for some, but not for all. Good to post though.

Do you sit on the phone and learn that the dev priority program had not ended yet?

All the news that was going on before this thread had said the dev priority had ended days ago.

Yep! Apologies if this has specifically been out in the news already. I'd love to see what you're talking about.

I can log into the developer account. I forgot i even had one. Does this mean i am eligible? Should I cancel my order?

Don't cancel, just place another for this model under the associated ID. Whatever prepares for shipment first is the one you keep, the other you cancel at that point only.

U don't need to have a dev account or anything. Blue 38mm Sports watches seem to have been produced in excess and Apple is shipping them fast. I ordered with a Guest checkout yesterday and today my card was charged and "PFS".

For the hell of it I ordered a 42MM blue (I'm a registered Dev on 3 different companies) and it stated June at checkout. If it moves I'll post up as I'm curious, now if only my 42MM SS Link would move LOL

Seems like im chalk full of stupid questions today... but, how many orders can we put in before Apple cancels one or more?

There was a limit of 2 active orders, but reports have been all over the place and no one is really sure now that preorders are over.

I hope you understand that it'll only move up when it starts preparing for shipment, which means you're charged for it at that point. Just don't want to confuse anyone!

I just placed another order. Lets see which one ships faster. My other order was a 42mm pink sport (because it was the only watch with shipping time from 4/24 - 5/8)

Lets see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed!
