It's not just phones. Try checking the price of a brand new car you just drove off the lot. 10 bucks says you wont get what you just paid for it$450 for my iPhone X and Apple will take it for $525. Both are laughable, but I guess I am the sucker since I bought this phone a little over three months ago at full pop. Starting to really not appreciate buying iPhones any longer.
I'm talking to some locals on letgo and offerup selling their iPhone SE devices below $80, seeing which one will give me the best price, can you beat that price with your 6? Thx.
As for the prices, they could offer something a little more. I know how it goes though, buy cheap and turn around and sell high, so I guess I'm not shocked. Hell, Apple offered me $25 for my perfectly working Apple Watch Stainless Steel Series 0 which is absurd. Why not just slap me in the face while you are at it?
Its dead technology. Series 0 wont even support the new OS, why would anyone want to buy it. Sure it might still work, but so does my VCR
I'll agree that the VCR comparison might have been an extreme, but technology is developing at an insane rate compared to when vcr's were the way to go. just look at last years phone to this years. the processing power is just insane compared to even 1 year ago.I wouldn't say that. WatchOS 4 is still viable and still functions just as capable as WatchOS 5. The watch still functions as intended as none of the functions have been deprecated which means its more attractive and capable than a $100 Fossil. The VCR analogy doesn't quite fit this scenario either. This product is a few years old while the VCR is decades old.

The series 0 was practically a test device. Expecting a huge payback so someone can buy old technology is asking a bit much. especially since you could usually get the previous years model for 100 dollars cheaper depending on sales/time of year
