I'm with you guys- usually get Fedex, ordered 37 seconds into preorder (38mm space gray), as a backup for not only a huge delay but also if I do not like the size, I ordered a 42 mm white sport today (june estimate) just incase but I couldn't imagine apple screws over all of us space gray/black/pink. Keep this thread going, i'd say 50/50 odds of success here!!

I like the way you think, And I agree, except I think it's 100% odds of success.

I have a 38mm SG Sport with black band (May 13-27) ordered at 3:01AM EST and a 42mm SG Sport with black band (June) ordered at noon on the 10th. No charges on my credit card and nothing other than 'processing' showing on the orders page.

Since Apple apparently underestimated the demand for Space Gray, I'm guessing my glass is empty. :(

If they offered me something else for a quicker shipment, I'd be OK with that, but I haven't even gotten the 'delay in shipping' email they sent out to some. :(

Dude you were not even suppose to get the SG watch on launch day.

There's people who have launch day time frames that aren't getting it. So there's nothing for you to even be sad about.

Looks like the planes from China are in the air. Hopefully tonight brings good news to many awaiting the SG!

I've been saying since Monday all the orders getting charger and preparing for shipment are watches fresh off the assembly line just arriving into there home countries or just leaving China.

There will be a ton of watches shipping this afternoon for delivery tomorrow.

Between the "already in stock here" and the "ups and fedex notify differently" theories, I'm giving this 70/30 for tomorrow. That's reasonably positive thinking, right?

----------

On second thought… I'm losing faith. People are posting shipment confirmation emails from Apple now. Uh oh... I'm slipping off the happy wagon...!!

The amount of happy thoughts in this post... Love it.

Wonderful.

This is awesome- we get to experience the most excitement. Might as well label those 5 inbound planes 'Air Space Gray' and the like! Just asked my stat teacher the chances and she said knowing Apple, we will wake up pleasently surprised.

If I don't get a shipping confirmation by 9PM tonight, then I'll lose hope. But, I will choose to believe there is still a chance. :) thank you for this, OP!

Honestly though, I doubt even three of those planes have Apple Watches on them. Look at flight history, these flights run daily and deliver cargo for hundreds of thousands of purposes.

Hell, can't make it any worse right? Sign me up, I need something to lift me up after this week (which as sllllllllllllllllllllowly moved down hill - my watch being the cherry on top).

I believe. My theory is that a lot of the early orders are ready to go in close warehouses, and they're ready to go. They aren't charging until they ship, and thus they won't charge until later today for a lot of people.
I'm sure I'll have my Milanese Loop tomorrow afternoon!

Yessss! This.

I have faith... but just in case I have this to wear on Friday night!

Ain't no shame

OP, inspired by my post in a different thread? :)

"Actually I am in the same boat...and I peg our odds at 50% chance we get it tomorrow...We are all choosing to see the glass half empty...There is only One band for the Spacy Grey, meaning apple knows to produce at least 5-6X this version vs all other sport watches. It could easily be that they are all sitting in warehouse and are the final watch type to ship. Processing to shipped can happen in a matter of 1 hour. This is based on my history of orders with Apple, which has the most efficient supply chain setup in the world"

Its simple. Like several people have said. The majority of us who have got zero movement since the first few minutes of preorders going live are most certainly covered.

Those watches are sitting in a big ass warehouse right now and Apple was being smart all week and taking care of the more distant orders from these warehouses. Its a drop in the bucket for them to click a button and within a few hours have your watch delivered to you.

For those of you in the watch categories like me (Space Black SS Link) and others like Pink Sport and Leather Band who have seen zero movement from anyone - its simply because our orders were the least popular - so they have taken care of the more popular orders first (SG Sport and whatnot).

Just you wait and see, confirmations will reign down like thunder later today/this evening and you will forget all this worry and drama even happened.

Do you really think Apple, with their massive amounts of cash and influence, didn't buy out every available shipping option on the day before launch?
