Do you really think Apple, with their massive amounts of cash and influence, didn't buy out every available shipping option on the day before launch?

While I don't doubt their ability to do so I also doubt that UPS would shut down days worth of shipments from foreign partners just for Apple.

When I ordered my 6 Plus I received it on launch day, but, I received the tracking notification 2 days beforehand and it originated straight from China.

Apple has a well-documented history of monopolizing supply chains to move mountains leading up to a launch.

I have a 38mm SG Sport with black band (May 13-27) ordered at 3:01AM EST and a 42mm SG Sport with black band (June) ordered at noon on the 10th. No charges on my credit card and nothing other than 'processing' showing on the orders page.

Since Apple apparently underestimated the demand for Space Gray, I'm guessing my glass is empty. :(

If they offered me something else for a quicker shipment, I'd be OK with that, but I haven't even gotten the 'delay in shipping' email they sent out to some. :(

Ditto on the empty glass

Apple Watch Sport 38mm Silver Aluminium Case with Pink Sport Band order 4/10 5:53 - June ship

I'm in...nothing ever comes from being negative...Keeping the faith all day long! :)

Hoping to see a couple of 38mm SS with white sports band tomorrow...I can wait on the added Milanese loop band!

Let's keep this thread 100% positive.

Put your blinders on, and saddle up some happy thinking.

Here's my official theory of positivity for those of us who received the E-mail of Death / in the 4/24-5/8 launch window, or are stuck in processing purgatory.

Apple has been planning for this launch for 6 months.
The largest company in the world with practically infinite resources,
spent loads of energy and money market research to determine which models would be insanely popular. They were prepared.

Apple, knowing what they knew, planned ahead, and moved large quantities of the more popular SKUs into place. (Namely the black bands) Notice how all of the Space Gray and Space Black Models, have no band variants? That's because they knew how popular it would be, and were able to create them en masse.(specifically the low end space gray sport, probably the most popular option of them all)

There is no way that 1/5th of the manufactured sport models were space gray... I'd be willing to bet at least 50% of them were.

That's also the reason they're available super ready available as in store display / preview models. Because apple has a ton of these bad boys ready.

So. Since they were built out in large quantities, Apple was able to move them to staging areas around the country, similarly to how they've done in the past with iPhone launches.

You'll see all the negative threads littered with past iPhone pre-orderers, saying "don't worry! Apple didn't charge me / giving me shipping info until the night before launch, and mine showed up on launch day!" Let's chose to believe these fine folks.

Tonight, Apple will charge all of our cards, and then overnight them to us.
They're all ready to go, just waiting for them to slap a label on and shove them on a plane or truck. You'll be playing with your watch by dinner time tomorrow.

Email of Death? More like E-mail of "CHILL OUT. WE'RE . WE GOT THIS. TRUST US."

Let's all calm down and take a chill pill, and assume the best.
Apple hasn't officially let down us early adopters yet, let's assume they won't.

Let's keep the positive theories coming.
Please don't bring negativity in here, there are plenty of threads for that.
(some of which I've admittedly participated in)

Who else believes they're still going to get their Watch tomorrow?

EDIT: The sold out statuses everywhere, are mostly just a marketing ploy to A) Under promise and Over deliver and B) To create perceived scarcity to increase sales.

You, my friend, are awesome. Negative thoughts have been filling my head ever since everyone's shipping notices were sent out. Let's hope we're next!

If Apple had a feedback form regarding any online order, they would have build 3 server farms with solar panels and hard drives to store all complaints :):)

I spoke with Apple this morning they said many watches will not be shipped until Friday which means will get them Monday or Tuesday, The one that I ordered was very popular however I did find out it is coming from Tennessee not China.

Apple told me the same thing about my Watch being the most popular... Which Watch did you order?

It's just so strange we haven't heard of ANY fedex shipping...there could be just pallets of them waiting for tonight. Who knows.

In all honesty they haven't a clue what they're talking about. In all likeliness, they know less than us.

Good for you! This is a thread for people who believe that they'll get theirs tomorrow, on 4/24. So keep the realist comments to yourself! *plugs ears and yells LALALALALALA*

This is exactly what's happening.
