gmail "pay it forward"

I really need one. I tried Fastmail.fm because I heard they gave away 1 GB now (I lost my old Fastmail address), so I went there and find that the free account is only 10MB, not much better than Hotmail, plus I can't send email using Mail.app, but I can receive it. Well, being able to receive but not reply doesn't help. And if I want to be able to send, I also have to pay. Plus it comes with adverts at the bottom. Whatever. I just want free, decent email that doesn't suck and has decent capacity. :)

when
will hotmail offer the 250mb storage they offered? is it for paying people only?
 
I've got some Gmail invites to give away. At least for now, I'd like to reserve these invites for people who have really contributed to the MacRumors community, rather than for some newbies that signed up just to get an invite. So if you are a "Macrumors Regular" (minimum of 100 posts) or better and are looking for an invite, please send me a private message. If I have extra invites in a few days, then I will take requests from "members" and "newbies," but please don't PM me until I post here again opening up the invites to you too. If you send me a PM now and are not a "regular" or better, I will not give you an invite, ever.

edit: If you are a Macrumors Demi-God or Goddess (or any other sort of MacRumors contributor) and send me a PM, I will give you an invite regardless of your post count.

well if any one is intrested my web site is giving some of them away.. i think we have about 10 left .. any ways.. the gist is you co to my site (in my sig) you look around go to the forum.. tell me what you think and pm me your email and ill send you an invite.. Already many happy gmailers :D .. /end plug :p
 
Thanks to xfauxsn, I now have an account!

And upon registering, they gave me 6 invites.

I've already posted a bunch of gmail invite links (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/86846/) and plan to again if I get anymore so stay tunned, I prefer to just post links and let whoever gets to one first get it instead of individually e-mailing each person the invite e-mail -- it's faster that way :p :D
