I thought it might be handing out free porn or something judging by all the commotion :eek: :p

I only just realised yesterday that my email inbox size has been upgraded from 8MB to 1GB without even notifying me... :eek: :)

I have 6 gmail invites also if a few more people want them... I'd rather give them to Mac users than anyone else! :)

For me--never having to clean out my inbox, and thus being able to find any one of the tidbits of useful information that people have sent me, without having to find a separate information organizer application to store it all, and without having such organization tied to whatever machine that app is installed on.

Right now I've got the important stuff from emails saved in Mail folders on my Mac at home; I have to go home to get to it. With GMail I'll be able to do nothing special with it, yet access it anywhere by means of a web browser and a quick search.
 
I'd love a gmail account!

If there are any left, as a dedicated mac use (I just bought a 12" powerbook tonight!), I would love to have one! :D
