email me at jason.grover at gmail.com

I leave for Amsterdam in the morning, so if I am a bit delayed in getting to you, don't fret. I should be back online shortly.

Thanks,

Hello all

2nd round of invite giving, and I really don't want to be spammed, so I'm just going to post the gmail invite links:

m. Thirteen

Just two requests; please only take one per person, and post to this thread if you take one, citing that you took one from here.

Enjoy :)

Took this one from the list. Thanks!

Thanks a lot quidire, I just took one from the list. :D
Just hope Gmail could support SMTP/POP3 access ASAP, then I can use Mail.app instead of Safari. ;)

At some point they will offer a pay-upgrade that allows for such... prob IMAP, SMTP/POP3 are old.

Personally I wish that apple would sign some sort of deal w/ google, transitioning the .mac service such that there would a cobranded google.mac, including the 1GB mail space, 1GB+ storage/webspace (incl CGI damnit!!) etc. I'd pay quite a bit for that, $200/yr w/o a problem.

I'm afraid i have sold my gmail 'sou'l to the eBay 'devil' :( To be fair, though, i have started the auction at 20p, and i have to pay 15p to list each item, so I'm doing it as a service rather than a money making scheme.... or that's what i keep telling myself......

Gmail compatibility with Mail.app?

Is there any way to automatically syncronize your gmail account with the OSX Mail app? I also want to do this with AOL. thanks

Not yet, Gmail says it's a possiblity, but if they do that there is the issue of funding as they get their revenue from ads. If it does come out it will probably be a pay service. I'm not familiar with AOL.
