gmail "pay it forward"

Its hard to figure who has received an invite and who has not. Not everyone seems to edit their request, so here goes:

Contact me if you would like an invite. I will edit this when I have sent one.
 
Just a quicke note:

It seems like when you add a bunch of contacts to your gmail account you
get a 6 invites. It just happened to me after a month of use. I thought it was how much you use the service. However my friend who just got an account less than a week ago added some contacts and got 6 invites within minutes.

So all you out there in internet-land, try this experiment ans see if it works.

I've still got several invites, so if you would like one PM me with your first name, last name, and email address (required if you want to send an invite) and I'll be more than happy to pass them along. Especially if you're a hotmail user! I wanna get rid of these invites! :)

EDIT: I've still got a few invites, but I'm only willing to give one per person to give others a chance. Haven't got one? PM me!

I think that the supply is more than the demand, now. Proof that the pay-it-forward system works.

I added about 20 to 30 contacts within a week of setting up my account and it took about a month to a month and a half to get any invites, Unless I missed the invites when they gave them to me because they were not were I expected them. I first noticed them in firefox on the left hand side under all the tools. I now see them in safari at home in big blue along the top of my email.

Anyways, not sure how you get them but now I seem to at least get some.

I have one invite to give away (rest have gone to friends who had dibbs on them). PM me with name and email.

I tried your idea of adding contacts to see if that gives you invites. I added only 10 contacts last night straight after opening my gmail account, and this morning i had 6 invites.
 
Well it seems as soon as I give out any more than half of my invites I get topped back up to 6. They also moved the invite button to the top of the inbox which seems a better place for it.

Anyone want an invite? PM me.
 
I've looked all over the internet for a good hour or so, but still haven't found an answer as to how one posts an actual direct link to the invite.... How does one do that?

send an invite to yourself and then copy and paste the link
