The 6 I tried in store is a wee bit too small for me and the 6 Plus I got is a wee bit too big to be carrying around easily. So I'll bend it down to about midway between the two sizes and be happy. ;)

Seriously, I love the screen on the Plus and I also don't want to go back to a device that has battery life that's close to what my 5s had or only marginally better. Once the leather wallet case I want for it becomes available, I am not looking back. Amazingly enough the Plus does fit in the front pocket of my baggy mom jeans that I wear most of the time I'm in my ordinary routine...even with a bulky case on it will fit, though I'll have to change the way I bend down to pick stuff up. I'll have to resign myself to a purse when I'm trying to be stylish. And no, it won't bend and doesn't bend in my pocket as I'm trying it out, however it will not be in the pocket full time until the case arrives.

I'm a very petite woman and I've got no issues holding the phone, currently. We will see what adjustments I will have to make once I get the case on it. But I'm so used to holding and typing on a retina mini.

This is one of my reasons for me getting a 6+ as well. If it was just a 6, I probably wouldn't upgrade as it'll be just another iphone to me, coming from someone who's been on a 3.5 inch/4 inch screen for the past 6 years, it's time for a big change :)

Same here, exactly. I'm a tall woman but have small hands and it's been an adjustment, for sure, but I couldn't see going back to a smaller screen now, even if said smaller screen is still larger than what I'd been using before (5S).

No, a lot of users prefer black because the white puts them off when watching a video.

I ordered the 6 in white/silver and the 6+ in black/space grey because I know I will what full screen videos on it more.

I am currently using the 6+ space grey naked and it's very delicate. I can never use it with one hand, and if I do I have to rest it against my chest. I still have the 6 silver in it's boxed, all sealed up. Am I allowed to open this to check it out and still return it?

Where did u buy it? Apple won't charge a restocking fee. Now if you bought it from your carrier they will. I've been using a 6 gold since the phone was released. I pre ordered a 6 and 6+. I have a 6+ silver sealed. I'm thinking about opening it today and using it for a couple of days and make my ultimate decision. Then I will return either or.

Is it really that difficult for some people to decide? I would think playing with either phone for a few days would make you know what to stay with, but even after that you still want public perception to make your choice? I don't think you could be happy with either phone at this point.

Agreed. I pre-ordered the 6+ and received it yesterday. Went to the Apple store to buy a case and AppleCare. Took a look at the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 And instantly saw that it is too small for me to use. It's more like a small upgrade to the iPhone 5S. I also like the features on the 6+. I like the optical image stabilization, longer battery life, the larger higher-resolution screen and the landscape mode.

I got it direct from Apple.

i'm in the exact same position as you, i have a gold 6 that im currently using and i also have a 6 plus space grey sealed, im really wanna crack it open and test so i can make the right decision... And if i keep the 6 plus i would rather have it in gold... I really don't know what to do

At least I am not the only indecisive one.. What a hard decision. Wish apple would have went with just one iphone model. What a hard life we all have.. Trying to decide between the iPhone 6 and the 6 plus.

The problem is they didn't make both phones exactly the same except screen size. I wish they put ois and 401ppi screens on both and made 6 as thick as the plus with more battery capacity. I don't want a 5.5-inch phone at all. If I want the extra battery life and slightly better phone under low light, I have to live with a huge screen that's annoying to handle.

I think 4.5" and 5.2" would have been better choices for sizes, but that said, I can't imagine giving up the Plus for a much smaller screen now.

I agree. I'm actually posting from the 6 and it feels so much smaller. I'm trying to see if I want this or toss my sim back into my 6 plus. I guess bad habit because I'm always glancing at my plus.

I think part of the problem with people returning the 6+ is that they are not giving themselves enough time with the phone. I knew I was keeping it in less than a day, but I would still advise people to use it for at least a week or more, before deciding for sure.

My wife's 6 is very nice and suits her perfectly but I absolutely love my Plus. I haven't enjoyed an iPhone this much since the very first iPhone.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. :)

I agree. I would give it the full two weeks. Even waiting till the last minute to get a 6 should be an issue. Each time I've walked into Best Buy, Verizon, etc. they seem to have them in stock. The 6+ inventory is very slim. I have both the 6 and 6+ and I'm still leaning towards the 6+. I think larger screens are going to be the next thing. I know it's call the iPhone, but I don't really use it as a phone. On an average I probably use less than 60 minutes a month. I see it more as internet communicator. That's why I enjoy the bigger display. Can't wait till all apps are optimized for the larger display. :D

It was hard for me to decide as well. Flopped back and forth, finally came to the conclusion to get the 6 and use for a year and wait for the 6S+ and hope that it will have even higher specs and maybe more Ram (all the bugs worked out). At that time all the apps should be updated and running smoothly. I have always been stuck on the 5-6 series and since I will be off contract this year, I can finally upgrade to the S series. So, that's my plan and I am sticking to it. ;)

The regular 6 wasn't enough of an upgrade from the 5 for me. I went with the 6+... it's a hassle one handed texting..... but I guess it'll get easier over time.

I don't know....I watch a considerable amount of video on my silver 6 plus and it's no different than watching my tv with a white wall in the background. Well, except the size of course:D

I had all black phones until the 5s, where I decided to go silver. Loved it.

So, the black/gray phone for heavy video watchers doesn't apply to all of us...

On the 6 Plus the screen is so big the white border does not stick out like it did on smaller screens IMO. Your to busy looking at what's onscreen to notice the border, lol. And in darker situations it's a moot point. Glad I got white this time.

Well your hands aren't going to grow anytime soon. You will just get used to using two hands and think nothing of it. Remember there are way more android devices out there and people don't seem to have a problem using two hands for a phone. I think it's just iPhone users since they've always had smaller one handed devices. Since apple released 4.7", I don't seem them making any smaller screens. Even android devices will be around 5". Just a new era in mobile phones.

I got the 6 Plus on launch day and really thought during the first 4-5 days that I would return it because it is somewhat awkward to handle and carry. However, I then played with a 6 at Target's display and decided that after handling my 6 Plus all week, the 6 seems small and not enough of an upgrade over 5S. Plus my muscle memory has adjusted pretty well to the 6 Plus. Still awkward to carry but no longer awkward to handle. And something about the Plus just feels like a brand-new device whereas the 6 feels like just another evolution to me, if that makes sense. I haven't been this enamored with a new phone since I got my very first iPhone, the 4. So I am going to be patient with iOS, app optimization, and any other 1st generation glitches. I am on ATT Next program and fully intend to trade for next year's phone anyway so it's a one-year commitment for me. Something new and different! It would be very hard to give up the screen, battery, and camera on this thing.

Also, FWIW, I always choose a white version can see this go-round where I might have liked the black front better on such a large phone. My husband has the space gray; it's gorgeous and does seem a tad smaller with the black front.

I agree. I generally get the newest iPhone. If nothing happens by next year, at least I know I gave it a try and can always switch back. Heck I can sell at any point and go the 6 with little to no money out of pocket once I sell the 6+. But going the 6+ gives it a whole new experience. There was a report I saw not to long ago where Apple engineers were out in public spotted with the 6+ and not the 6. Not sure what's that is worth, but at least you know it's something they aren't just doing to satisfy some users.

OK, so ignoring the fact I'm a massive timewaster and stopping some poor scalper get his phones...

I had a 6+. It was always going to have to go back because of a reservation muck up by apple here in the UK, which meant I got 128gb not 64gb.

When I returned, I got a 6. Mainly because I had definitely definitely decided the plus was too big, couldn't use it 1 handed, too much hassle etc etc.

Since I got the 6, I love it. Sort of. But it's just an iphone. Same as all the other iPhones I've had. Almost boring....

So last night I reserved a plus. In black this time for one reason - I guess it might LOOK smaller?

Anyway the point of this thread is, has anyone been a big a pain in the *** as I have, and having gone plus - normal - plus, do you regret it?

Tell me what to do basically.

Cool Story Bro!

Same thing happened with the Mini versus the larger iPad. Damn you Apple. :)

I'm actually having second thoughts too. I like how my 6 feels, but it just doesn't seem too different than my prior iPhone. And I'm curious how the Plus would feel as a daily driver
