Apple is putting all this effort into the experience for buying the Watch and here I am just going to have the thing shipped to my door.
Seriously, I was a server for almost a year to make extra money to pay off school debt and was making a few grand shy of 100k.
Not everyone who is a server works there full time. Some have other jobs too.
We give you 30 minutes and then you have to tell us if you are going to give us $17,000!
I think Tiffany would give you more than 30 minutes.
"Lee is a server in a restaurant..."
If Lee can afford that watch he's stealing. I used to work restaurants during college. Never made enough to feel like I could afford a $1k watch. Between rent and drinks after work (not necessarily in that priority order), I'd never have blown that kinda cash on a watch.
Now that I'm older...well...maybe I'll take two. One for me, and one for my wife, so she doesn't give me any ***** for buying a $1k watch.

Damn, maybe I'm in the wrong line of work.
Apple will need to do a credit check prior to giving out 30min appts... i'm tempted to just say I want the gold watch just to spend 5mins with it and 25mins trying on other watches and combos. My watch of choice is 42mm Sports with white band.

Shouldn't it be 10000/349*15/60 = 7.16 hours?
If you need to buy a $10,000 watch on credit you should not be buying one in the first place. I can safely assume that people that have $10,000 plus have a iPhone 6 and would use Apple pay at a Apple store.
And anyone interested in buying a $549 plus Apple watch should have upgraded to a iPhone 6 already. If not they need to get their priorities straight.
If a server was always checking their phone while serving me, I would not be pleased. So same should hold true if he was checking his watch for phone updates....
I can't wait to go to the Apple Store on the 13th and see what kind of fashion advice they give me. I wonder what they would say to me, a student, as I usually wear a plain hoodie, bluejeans, and grey sneakers.
I want to buy a Sport 42MM, silver, with a Milanese Loop. Can't wait to her what they suggest...
I heard that they're adding a VIP room to the Apple Stores that includes an open bar and a chrome pole.Might want to throw in a massage and a happy ending for that much.
I'm a server...have been for 6 years and I'm getting an AppleWatch.
That is so untrue. I make good money as a server. I have a decently expensive car, paid my way through Undergrad and beginning law school in the fall. All on a part time server job.
The kind of person who would even consider spending $10K for a watch would be in and out in five minutes, if they didn't bother just sending in an assistant.
> server in a restaurant
> is considering buying a $700 smartwatch
Sure thing, Apple. Sure. Thing.
