"Hey, Siri. How many rocks should I eat a day?"

I asked the Gemini app and got the correct answer funnily enough.

Have you used Siri for that? I haven't ever had an issue setting a time or starting a search. Or reading text messages, or starting navigation.

The only thing Siri sucks for is conversation, in my experience.
Yep, timers usually work, trying to switch a light on or off that's in my home app? it says it needs to download an app, so I then have to manually navigate to the home app and toggle it there.

the is an embarrassment for Apple...
Apple "intelligence" isn't intelligent as they worshipped during the the keynote last year LOL.
the loyal consumer should've of boycott it for the false advertisement and get rewarded; I know the loyal sheeps even agreed that they got robbed and still are okay with it, that's the problem, that's sad....
Because it's not that important

Why boycott and move software preference for this? Be rather stupid

Wow that is sick! Great video!
Yep, and now the Feds, with access to your phone, know the layout of your home and where you left your Star Wars cassette and that you have a “fanny” pack ( very early 1990’s ) and anything else in your home that you would like to be private. But, hey, Google was actually funded early on in its creation by an investment arm of the CIA. So here’s the logical outcome.

Gemini is great and it’s actually more intuitive and better to use than chat gpt. I use it all the time and this would be great along e with the 340 mil who use it already this would just increase the usage. Add to this that Gemini is integrated into google apps it would vastly increase iPhone usability

Wait you think they don’t know this already?

Please, no.
It's obnoxious enough as it is.
People that have not actually used Gemini on other platforms are annoying because it's heads and shoulders better than anything Siri can do. You can literally have a conversation with it about the weather, stocks, your calendar and a multitude of other things. How people are so close minded on these forums is beyond me.

It’s how people are with everything. So tribal and stupid instead of looking into something for themselves and finding out

I can’t wait for the new Siri team to be in the works and come up with something that can be compatible to Gemini just alike what they did with Apple Maps but I think it’s gonna take a while tho.

Integrating 3rd party AIs like Gemini and ChatGPT is a big turn off for me. I don't want them on my phone. I'd rather Apple just keep plugging away at Siri, even if it takes them a few years.

Why not just let them have an app, and allow them access to photos, or whatever the users choose?

Or when I just let the users decide which voice assistance to use ? I personally do not want Siri or Apple Intelligence on my phone, but I don’t want to restrict people’s choices. And like with Siri, there’s an option to turn it off so having choices is never a bad idea.

I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH A COMPUTER.

ELIZA was briefly amusing - when I was 10. But even that was better than LLM hallucinations.

It's annoying enough that I have to deal with humans lying. Having computers do it too is just over the top. NOTHING that comes out of a LLM can be trusted. Everything it says must be verified. And if I'm going to have to do that, why would I want to bother?

Being open minded is good. Being so open minded that your brain falls out is not.

Umm are you ok? It's just a personal assistant lol nobody is making you have a conversation with it. Judging by your response, and how against you are with everything it seems you don't have many people to here you complain.
