I am so sick of their policy. They won't allow other apps to surpass their own, so they can brag about copying others' features on annual iOS releases. Same with setting default apps.
And I own the new iPad, an iPhone and 2011 MBA, so one would think I like what they do. This, however, pisses me off. I really hope Windows 8 turns out to be a huge competition.

Me too, they gone too... They need someone competing with them so they can regain some sense of humility,

Since I don't use Chrome on any of my desktops, Chrome on iOS is pretty useless for me. It looks nice, but prefer iCab still since there is no gesture or download feature in Chrome. Hopefully they will include those options in time.

Why even wait that long, do it now and have some fun :)

I want to wait for the jailbreak for the final version of iOS6
When I update the iPhone to iOS I dont wan to loose all the jailbreak tweaks
Plus I am worried of f**ng up the iPhone 4 as trust me, technology is never on my side :(

There is almost no way a jailbreak will completely destroy your phone. You will always ALWAYS have a way to restore things the way they were.

There's even a Safe mode where if a tweak is messing stuff up, you can switch to that mode and remove it completely. You have nothing to be afraid of, hardest part is browsing through all the tweaks and deciding which ones to keep :)

Edit: And I just tried this browser, beautifully done by Google.

Looks like I'm saying goodbye to Safari on iOS at last...

Just used Chrome on iOS for few seconds and loving it; I guess that Apple will eventually change its terms to make it more difficult for Google to innovate as I'm sure the stats in few months about mobile browsers will favor Google quite a lot :) (and well deserved because current iOS Safari and upcoming iOS Safari are nothing compared to iOS Google Chrome)

Apparently there's a security issue with allowing third party browsers access to the fast engine that Safari uses. Hopefully this is resolved in iOS6, but I doubt it.

Without the fast engine from Safari, any third party browser will be crippled next to Safari on iOS.

In any case, the userAgent still identifies itself as mobile Safari, so the stats won't change even if people use Chrome.

I'm not liking the bookmark setup. It always opens a new tab. If you are a page it will go to a new tab where the old was.

With this I can't use bookmarklets. Only way to use them is to cut paste into the address bar. Anyone have a work around?

Very impressed. I've tried other browsers and they all suffer in comparison to Safari. The only request I have is to have "one touch" access to my Bookmarks. Google, figure out a way to do this, whether it be swiping or something. On the mobile environment, bookmarks are vital due to slower typing. One extra touch may not sound like a lot, but it's clearly an annoyance already.

Other than that, it's the slickest browser on iOS.

Yup, bookmarks need to be one touch, it went on, then came right off, features like this need to be on there from the start Google!

Agreed, I also don't want separate 'mobile' and 'desktop' bookmarks. Most sites will redirect for mobile, I don't need 2 separate lists.

I have to admit I do like iOS Chrome but I miss two features from iOS 6's mobile Safari, full screen browsing and quick access to back/forward button histories. Use them both quite often already.

I'll add one more, iOS 6's share sheets. They're actually incredibly useful.
