They launched it on iOS before launching it on Froyo and Gingerbread devices? Not cool Google, not cool.

The trouble is I don't trust Chroma at all, since I've been using it for the past year it tracks ever thing I do like a leech, add's, email's etc they know your bloody life. I have switched back to Safari and starting to use it a VPN..I didn't notice much loss really.

I'd rather have Internet Explorer 6 then that piece of garbage, Chrome.

Keep your greedy, prying eyes out of my life, Google.

And, honestly, who would be dumb enough to turn on syncing and allow Google access to your entire browsing history, including bookmarks?

That's true, I hate to use it, but seeing as extensions for safari are still a joke compared with the wealth of chrome, and the monochromatic grey everywhere of safari (thanks apple thats just so great to tell things apart) as well as the fact that safari leaks to high heaven in lion has sadly made me switch to chrome....maybe I should switch to opera and be done with both of thems...

You should use Firefox! The personas really brighten things up - I do miss Top Sites so much though! :)

It is all annonymized, and don't kid yourself Apple does the same.

iOS Chrome requires iOS 4.3, while Android Chrome requires Android 4.0. Ironically that means that 99% of the iOS users can use Chrome, while only 10% of the Android users can.

yeah. It's interesting that Google cares more about iOS users than it's own Android users.

I can use Chrome on all my iOS devices but can't use it on my Fricking Android phone. kinda pathetic.

Safari DOES seem faster than Chrome on my iPad.

I can't even imagine how many people will download Chrome on their iOS devices and then delete it or will never use it. What a waste of downloads: because of this Chrome will be top free app in the App Store.

Ok, while some people want more "choice", what does this really give us?

Syncing of bookmarks, passwords, tabs etc. for those who prefer to use Chrome as their destkop browser. Plus likely further stuff down the road should it be developed.

Anyone else getting an error while trying to sign into Chrome for iOS.

I have changed my password to a simple word, and still get:

Account sign-in details are out of date.

When I go to sign in with the simple password, still shows that...

I still can't even download it, UK store still saying it is not available.

I ll give it a try, fab browser, and fav browser that I ve was using a lot but haven't on what...more than 7 years or so, I was worried with the quick fire release cycle and how they were falling behind on some things, but I ll definitely give it a go.

Why is it being rated so well on the app store. I've only played with it for a few minutes but so far it seems to be awful. Getting to my bookmarks (the main thing I want on my iPhone browser) takes an extra step:

Three dashed lines button
Bookmarks
Choose bookmark

All other browsers:

I use the 2-step verification for my Google account, so I went ahead and created an application specific password for iPhone Chrome. I signed into sync with my email address and password, then it prompts for the application password which I type in. The sign in process acts as if everything is good, but I am prompted with a message that sign in failed or account information is incorrect or out of date. Anybody else have it working?

WTF has it been removed? Just tried to download it and got the message 'that is no longer available' or something along those lines.

So that makes it terrible?

Yup Apple pulled it.
Brilliant.

So no way to get it now then?
