Hold up!
Siri is the worst.
AAPL just asked me for my opinion of AAPL Music. Naturally, I detailed my opinion.
I shared that the only reason I subbed to AAPL Music was to prove the point to a friend that "Hey Siri? Play XYZ" was *only* effective when I was subbed to AAPL Music.
When I was un-subbed, Siri replied "I'm sorry: I can't find that in your Library."
When I was subbed, virtually everything I ask to be played was played.
After I un-subbed, Siri replied "I'm sorry: I can't find that in your Library."
I don't blame Siri; I just found that AAPL is "subscriptionally" (new word for '25) complicit in the lock-in to their subscription services to provide cogent, contextual content.
A brief "I'm sorry, but I can't satisfy that query unless you subscribe to our Service" comment would have satisfied my yearning.
