OK, you dont care about that(that was just an example and iPhone users ive showed that to actually love that feature) but for me and many others, Android does a lot more than iOS(that is actually a fact that it does more) and having better notifications is not an opinion. It is flat better and thats a fact.

I am, and can if i want. You will get the updates but wont always get the full version. Like the iP4 isnt getting and i think even the 4S didnt get the full version of iOS 6 but could be wrong there.
No matter what Android device one has, they will always get the latest App updates. None of this "only works for those using 4.0 and up" like Apple does.
I happen to HATE iTunes and was a reason i switched and i can get all that in the Playstore. Have you ever even used Android before?
Eh, subject to opinion. Games are better, ill give you that.
No and since you have apparently never used Android, it would take me forever to explain why, so im not going to. There is plenty to read here in this forum of what Android can do and does more that you probably have no idea about.

I have no doubt that Android is better for YOU, but again, that's your opinion and you can't apply it to everyone. I've used both and I prefer iOS.

Neither of you know what an opinion is. It's not a "fact" that Android notifications are better.Benchmarks prove much more than your opinions.
After how long? The S3 just started getting jellybean in the US, which has been out for months. As I already said I was using ridiculous examples to prove how ridiculous your examples are. I know that having the latest OS version doesn't somehow make my phone better then another phone. Why don't you know that reading while watching doesn't automatically mean your phone is better then any other? It's all about what a person wants/needs out of a phone.
If you think the play store has anywhere near the amount of content as iTunes, you are lying to yourself. The Play Store is dwarfed by iTunes when it comes to available music, and I'm sure the same applies for TV shows and Movies.

LOL, it is miles better. How is it even close to being better on iOS? Hell they copied it from Android anyways and as usual, just put their own touch on it like they do when they copy other things from others. There is a notification for EVERYTHING on Android...plus it has LED to go with it.

It really doesnt. Read the article. There are many others too. These phones work much different than each others and there are factors of how scores come out as well. It is a gauge of performance yes but really, they are misleading at times and really dont tell the whole story but i you dont read anything about it, you will always be ignorant to it.

Who cares how long. I have it and will probably get Key Lime pie too. Or i can put it on myself if i want. Samsung is real good about releasing source code.

And i didnt say mine was better because i could do that. I said i can do it and you cant and iPghne users ive shown that too actually are envious of that. Me myself, ive used it sparingly.
But i do love the NFC feature and have used it and it is awesome. iPhone users ive shown that to LOVE that and they cant do it. Its pretty cool to be ablke to touch phones and get a video or pictures or a song and it transfers really fast.
example, it took 45 minutes to download the Movie Pirates of the Caribean on my PC and then drag it to my phone. Using NFC it transfered in less than 5 minutes(about 3.5) to the other phone.
Dude and i dont care. There are 650,000 apps in the playstore. I have about 85. I dont read books but there are tons in there. There are tons of movies, many which i dont care about and there are tons of TV shows...many which i dont watch but there are plenty i do like.
The Playstore is just fine and has a lot of things in there. If you are sayng it isnt good enough for you and you cant find anything worth a crap, then YOU are lying to yourself.

Again. Something tangible is a far better indicator then an opinion. I can prove time and time again, and you cannot dispute that the ip5 shows better benchmarks then any other phone. Whether or not you perceive a difference, or whether or not it matters to you is irrelevant. A benchmark is an objective measurement. There's no opinion, there's no "LOL", there's no "it's wayyy better". It's there in black and white for you to examine. No, benchmarks are not the end all be all, but they are a far better indication of performance then you just sitting there saying notifications are way better on android.
...for the 3rd time. I was using a RIDICULOUS example to show you how RIDICULOUS your examples were! Please read more than the first sentence of a post before answering. Let me say it again: Just because I have the latest version of iOS, DOES NOT mean that iOS is better! The same way, just because you can read an email while watching a video, or have notifications that you think are great doesn't make your OS automatically better! It's subjective!!! Apple releases new versions on a yearly cycle, and most users get the new version within days. You're holding the fact that Apple doesn't update its OS as much as Android against them? That's ridiculous. Android versions come out and Android users don't get them for months. There's a difference between something being available and not getting it, and something not being available at all. I believe you. But again, that's not my point.
I think NFC is great. It's not an Android feature though. NFC has been available on mobile phones for years.

Excellent. And that's your opinion. As is evidenced by Apple's sales, millions upon millions upon millions of people per quarter don't agree with you. Does that mean iPhone is automatically the "better" device? Nope. It just means people use what they need/want.

Awesome, your posting articles from July 2011. Gee no improvevments made sense then...and it was better then too. Yeah i know, my opinion and the majority of others too. But i guess you need a chart to believe that....the same charts that you dont produce. Cool, you have your opinion and i have mine. Enjoy looking up benchmarks but just remember, when the GS4 comes out, your the one that said they are the truth of what is better.When is the last time you used Android? When was the last time I used Android? Today. On my Galaxy Nexus. Why do you ask? Do you think that just because I used Jellybean I should bow at the feet of Android because it wouldn't make sense if I didn't??

No doubt Android is a excellent open system. But about the stable comments, have you noticed latest news about Android 4.2 with all kinds of glitches. Google seems too eager to defeat iOS that starting release beta version of Android before it getting reliable enough.
How many 4.2 devices do you own? I'm guessing 0.
I'm also guessing thats the amount of Android devices you own.

Furthermore, I'm almost certain that by "all kinds of glitches" you mean the lag caused by Google Currents (which isn't a core App of Android) which can be fixed in under a minute even by a complete novice user:

Here's how it works:
When an Android device gets better benchmarks, they don't mean anything and benchmarks are meaningless. It's all about the user experience.
When iPhone gets better benchmarks, UX is meaningless and any phone that doesn't beat iPhone in benchmarks (which are now vitally important) is total garbage.
You know. The same way that after iPhone got the "retina" display, any phone without it had a completely unreadable screen. Then, once all the Android devices started getting this technology it was "sure they have a high PPI but the colors aren't as good".
Then iPad Mini came with a non-retina display and suddenly everyones vision deteriorated and they "couldn't tell the difference" or "the screen is perfectly adequate".
I think you meant to say enjoy your better OS and I'll enjoy mine.
Putting it in quotes even negates your statement that judging an OS is subjective.

It works both ways. It's more common for android users to say benchmarks don't mean anything because it's rare that an android phone gets better benchmarks then the iPhone

Microsoft, Google, Motorola... all they can do is talk, talk and more talk. They love to talk about their upcoming revolutionary products, but somehow along the way, they get bogged down in the same design compromises that made their previous products suck. Remember how insanely great the Surface was going to be? BAH!

Actually, benchmarks are not a way to show how a device performs better. A benchmark is nothing more than a standard or point of reference against which things may be compared or assessed. You can determine which processor crunches more cycles in a second, which GPU can throw around more pixels, etc. What you cannot determine with benchmarks is which product is better because that is a very relative judgment based on a myriad of factors having nothing to do with baseline hardware performance.
Also, people who tend to say "benchmarks don't matter" usually own equipment that doesn't rate very well in the benchmarks. I count myself as one of those. I've been a life-long Mac user. I couldn't care less about benchmarks because I didn't buy my Macs because of their blistering CPU performance. I buy Macs because I get more work done in less time than with a Windows PC, and that is worth more than any benchmark could hope to achieve.
I agree that "better" is not the best term to use. However, a device with higher benchmarks does outperform one with worse. That's the point I was trying to get across. Regardless, benchmarks are not a subjective value as some here are trying to argue.
