Just got my second Google official silicone case. I really like the look and feel of these, but it's interesting. They're very slippery and kind of hard feeling at first. They take a good couple weeks of use to really get worn in and then become more squishy and comfortable in the hand.

Dust in the camera? I've never had that issue on my smart or dumb phones. A return instead of exchange seems odd.

wow you got the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Pixel 10 XL and BOTH had dust? Man what are the odds of that happening....
I'm thinking its a OCD problem. I've never had camera dust.

I had dust inside the camera on my 16 PM. Took it to the Apple Store and they quickly fixed it.

Probably not very common but it happens I guess.

Yup yup don't have a problem with more tech but I know it won't get use while I own the Fold 7
Obviously kidding around. I keep both an iPhone and Pixel but finding significant use of both difficult. I’m going primary line in my upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold but need to keep an iPhone as my ‘ecosystem’ of friends and family living primarily in the Apple world. Having quick access to Find My, AirDrop, Apple Notes (for collaboration), and Apple Messages is both useful and necessary but I’ve been working to find good cross platform, third party solutions for things like task management, reminders, notes for my own use.

After a week living with first the iPhone Air and now a standard iPhone 17, I’m going to keep the standard iPhone 17. The form factor of the Air is tantalizing and it feels so good to carry/use but the functional difficiencies are a bit too compromising. That, and it’s going to be my daughter’s phone next upgrade cycle and she’d rather have the regular phone. 😁

I don’t know how any of you keep flip flopping between devices or keep more than two in action. 😂

I get good usage out of both my iPhone and my Fold on a daily basis, I just try to use both a flip flop between things. iPhone has all my work apps along with my work emails, if I use the Fold at the gym today the next time I use the iPhone. I prefer Android Auto mainly because I could run it in the car and still do something on the phone without it being crippled. I use both for photos. If I'm on YouTube today on the Fold I might be on the iPhone catching up on some tech stuff. Overall I think I've mastered this pretty good for my daily living haha. Oh I do have a OnePlus 13 which right now serves as the night phone at the house along with bedside. I was flip-flopping my sim but ever since I got the foldable I've not removed it.

So Google's 27th Birthday deals have hit the store (here in the UK at least).

There's £100 store credit when buying the Pixel 10 Pro, XL and Fold 10. There is also 20% off with the code on the website AND enhanced trade in offers.

Oh and there's free stickers and a Google wristlet if that's your thing 😂

20% code doesn’t seem to work on pixel 10 pro xl phones (that’s only phone I tried it on )

You're right, I just checked and it excludes the Pixel 10 range and the Pixel Watch 4. Works on the 9 range. That's naughty of Google, so in reality there is no deal if you are buying the newer Pixel 10 range.

I'm glad I jumped in at pre-orders then.

£673 all in for my Pixel 10 Pro XL with enhanced trade-in for 21 Ultra and £204.50 store credit (which funded the Buds Pro 2 and an official case).

Yea it looks like you got the better deal with pre-order. At the moment Google are offering £402 for my S24 Ultra, £100 store credit. That's the offer for the Pixel 10 XL.

Ironically Google sent a marketing email with referring a friend, so if anyone wants Google codes I can generate 10 of them for 15% off. I believe that includes the Pixel 10 lineup.

I got £376 for a four year old S21 Ultra from Google. That was a result.

That’s a good price to be fair, i always wonder what these companies do with phones that have been traded in but are not their brand. What does Samsung do with Pixels and iPhones, and vis versa for Google and other brands 🤔

How are you getting on with your Pixel XL? How is the battery life and cameras?

Changed it up with some Absolute Batman;

Camera's are amazing. Photos are better in my opinion to my previous S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro. The videos aren't too bad either.

Battery life has been ok for me. It lasts me a full heavy use day. I haven't been able to empty it yet in a day.

All in all I have no complaints and can easily use it as a daily until early next year until the S26 range comes out.

How many of you guys have pre-ordered the Pixel 10 Pro Fold? Be interesting to see, considering most of the chat on this thread has mainly focused on the non foldable.
