Any reason for that or just a general dislike? I actually like the look of the bigger screens. But it’s the compromises in camera and durability that put me off.

Really no specific reason. I just think the idea of such a large phone is kind of a turn off to me. I mean yeah I get the idea of it folding open to be double the screen size, but I've really never had a want or need for that.

I've got a nice desktop custom gaming rig PC I built for myself for most of my social media and YouTube viewing and gaming of course.

I like the phone to be somewhat portable, big but not too big.

Love the Pixel UI

Loving my Pixel 10 Pro xl, one of the best device I have ever had.

Thought about getting an iPhone as almost always used iphones, but last year switched to a Pixel Pro 9 Xl and loved it, the 10 has small improvements but worth for me.

I have one on order. Upgrading my original pixel fold.

How has your original Pixel Fold held up in terms of durability? Also are you sticking with the Pixel Fold instead of a Samsung Fold 7 for any particular reason?

I do like the look of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and the Fold 7. However my concerns when it comes to foldables are about the battery life, cameras and durability over time.

I didn't think the app icons were customisable on Google Pixel phones? I thought that was only a thing on Samsung phones with GoodLock.
You can have the icons automatically match the color template of the wallpaper on Pixel’s native launcher. You can always install a custom launcher like Niagara that allows icon customization and theming.

I haven't really had battery or durability issues on any foldables for me. Cameras have certainly been a little step down but they seem to be improving it a bit each year. As for Pixel over Samsung, just personal preference. I had two Samsung Foldables, but switching to Pixel for their original Fold, I just prefer Pixel software. The Fold 7 design wise is incredible, but I am going to the Pixel for the software.

Dies anyone have recommendations for an alternative launcher? I'm not wanting much, just to be able to disable icon labels, hide icons, etc

I met up with my friend today who I see every 4-6 weeks. We were school friends from age 9 and have stayed in touch, messaging a lot and then we meet when we can.
He is a dad of 4(!) now so it’s always a challenge but we make it work.

He has the 10 Pro XL and I forgot he even bought it. He upgrades every year since moving to pixel with the 8 Pro, as the finance options work out nicely for him. Trade in, and keep paying what he paid for the previous years model.

He has the Moonstone and the official case. Man, what a great colour. He’s normally a black everything guy but this year he fancied a change. It really did look good!

What would it take you to switch back to iPhone?

If best-in-class versions of your favorite apps doesn't swing it for you, then is there something that could have persuaded you to come home to Apple? Or... is it more of a its not you, its me, kinda breakup with Apple?

Are there any advantages to having pixel buds with a Pixel phone? I have galaxy buds right now and I'm wanting to get galaxy buds pro 3 but if Pixel buds work better I can go that route.
