Mostly my Pixel experience has been awesome. It is my first time using my Android phone as my main phone for a long time. I am picking up a 17PM this afternoon as my secondary phone, but probably won't put an eSIM in it until 26.4 is in testing in the spring.

Right now I am looking forward to QPR2 to bring lock screen widgets, 90/10 splitscreen, and squircle icons. Anybody here in the beta?

A couple software things that I would wish were changed:
  • At a Glance needs to be bigger or have a toggle to turn it off. I just don't find it that useful at the size it is and don't want to use another launcher to get around it.
  • Magic Cue has yet to do anything helpful and Daily Hub is gone for now. Still waiting on the magical Project Astra/Mariner experiences I saw at I/O. I know Apple takes a lot of flack for being so far behind on AI, but if they deliver on More Personal Siri in the Spring, they might leapfrog Google on the digital assistant stuff (at least in the short-term).
  • Material 3 Expressive is great except for the silly squiggly line when playing media. It just looks out of place.

Agree on At A Glance being way too small now, nearly impossible to read.

I wish there were more settings, like let me charge the font on AAG.

Online, all comments do nothing but slate the pixel 10 for being bad at x, bad at y, but real life use doesn’t seem to marry up with these negative comments.

A few things I’d like ( might be that I’m not looking in the right place) include the ability to modify the power button for flashlight, I use this all the time on my s25u or iPhone action button

I’d like a quick toggle for the volume / silence in the control panel rather than have to press a volume button first and a quick toggle for WiFi - atm I have to toggle internet then choose WiFi

I’ve read so many negative things about the Pixel 10, yet it’s snappier and smoother than my 15 Pro Max.

Yeah, I've read some pretty bad stuff about the Pixel 10, but you guys are more reliable and I trust you more.

He's back
wow you got the Samsung Galaxy S25 and the Pixel 10 XL and BOTH had dust? Man what are the odds of that happening....
.... I checked out of curiosity. There is a dust complaint post in the S25, Pixel 10, AND Macbook threads. This is either an environmental issue or a very odd gripe to lie about.

Apple keeps ignoring Central Europe with many features missing or crippled. Meanwhile Pixel just works with full Polish support, better Android Auto and no EU-related feature blocks.

Support for third-party accessories is also much better and everything works seamlessly without artificial restrictions

Avoid the pixel reddit threads, they are either it's rubbish don't buy, or it's perfect you are doing it wrong. Apparently the GPU issues are due to a driver being out dated (hopefully fixed soon) and Google trying to get it's speed as low as possible to save battery.

I got a 17 pro max, which I am liking, but I can't bring myself to get rid of the pixel... I know I should, but I still like it, even if the pro max does somethings better

Basically, it is not underclocked or slower than the 9-series as some claimed, but it is aggressively clock-gating, so benchmarks will show lower scores than the burst speeds the GPU can attain. But the GPU doesn't like maintaining those high speeds due to thermal/power management. It's not a gaming phone, but fine for most people.

That’s what I meant, just poorly worded. Next time I will drink coffee first

I had very high expectations and feel a bit underwhelmed by the 10 Pro to be honest. I don't play much games on my phone but performance almost seems worse than my 9 Pro. Battery life as well.
Still enjoying the phone for normal use and hoping new drivers will improve the experience.

I have always preferred Pixel over iPhone but it's really close this year. The camera on the 17 PM has improved and iOS 26 feels more fun than before.

Will switch between them but right now the iPhone will be my main device.

I'll take things that didn't happen for $500
Funny thing happened to me the other day I went to the store to buy a big dust particle and a pixel 10 was stuck inside of it..I wonder what that is?

I promise no more LOL carry on my good people and I hope everyone gets to keep enjoying their phones. This is one year that I'm bypassing Google.
