No universal back button with iOS. It boggles my mind how apple has made this optional with developers

That's just one of the reasons I will never get an iPhone anytime soon again. Not a fan of iOS whatsoever. I wouldn't want a downgrade from my Pixel to an iPhone.

Was really let down by Apple with iOS 19. I was expecting a full-blown revamp redo of their operating system. But all they did was make a cheesy theme/skin Liquid Ass.

Anyways, I'm just a sucker for the smooth fluid Pixel UI and the really artistic cool design of Material 3.

YouTube Music / Google Pixel combo is the best.

My Pixel was late arriving last night so I didn't get much more done besides transferring apps over. I've been logging into apps and setting things up today.
Power and volume button arrangement is awkward but I'll adjust pretty soon.
Fingerprint sensor and face unlock are both super fast.
Once everything is like I want it I think I'm going to really enjoy this phone.

I currently have a iPhone 15 Pro Max and S24 Ultra. I have to say i agree with you, IOS 26 wasn’t the complete overall i thought it would be. Liquid Glass is annoying in places and not a big overall. I’m very disappointed in iPadOS as well, it is more annoying to use since Apple are now trying to turn the iPad into a Mac, something i never thought they would do.

I’ve been thinking about getting a Pixel to replace my S24 Ultra, if I really like it maybe even one day replace my iPhone. Apple seem to have become boring, i use to upgrade my iPhone every other year sometimes even every year. I’m still on the iPhone 17 because there just doesn’t seem to be much if any innovation from the new iPhones.

I also get the impression that Google are tying to court iPhone users with the Pixel and it’s Pixel OS, a more simple version of Android.
