And why do the last 3 of us have the same MacRumors #?
Lol. That number isn't a unique ID, it's a rank based on (I believe) your number of posts. I think there a list of all the titles/ranks floating around somewhere, you could probably find it with some quick Googling.

EDIT: Noticed I had become a 601 so I looked up what that meant. Here you go. I should probably spend less time on this website.

Not Apple

I don't know if OnePlus was the first, but this pre-dates the iPhone 11 Pro, the first iPhone to use the pro moniker.

So before anyone says it, no, Google did not copy Apple.
That's not enough to stop someone determined enough to say that. The iPad Pro is even older. ;)

I don't like the design but am curious what the cameras will be like. Apple may have to step-up its game again. The competition is good for us as consumers.

Apples cameras have never been the greatest on a macro level, but for any enthusiast they’re an easy built in feature. I’m wondering the same thing…

I think it looks great. Soon as RCS matures well finally have a way out of Apples Lagging Tech.

So is Google going to catch hell for the camera bump the way Apple always did?

Google Pixel has a much more useful camera for real life situations. iPhone is hit or miss, but does better videos all day. If I wasn't stuck deep in the Apple ecosystem, I would get a Pixel phone solely for the camera. We have friends and relatives with Pixels and when we go to events, we all share the pics. They steal our videos, we steal their photos for the most part.

We went for a night time sensory show in the woods with lights and sounds. We did not get 1 usable picture and had to keep disabling night mode. Kids don't hold still long enough. Literally out of 50-75 pictures between two iPhones, not one useable picture of people. Our Pixel carrying friends had almost no bad pictures. It's a huge difference.

They both can play movies, run maps, get e-mail, surf the web, and listen to music. Only one can take excellent pictures all of the time.

Oh dear. Just like Microsoft, Google just have no taste. At all.
From what perspective? Tech needs will probably fawn over this device for its “tech” look, but it looks really sharp on the corners, so are they going to use gloves to handle it? (Sorry, the design is just so funky).
