I meant in reference to the m2 chip being in a Google device. It’s just sad they can’t come up with their own label for a “secure” chip. Does them allowing the m2 naming scheme mean Apple doesn’t have copyright on it?
Ah, gotcha. I assume they don't, but then again Apple has already recycled the M scheme for their own chip naming. It might be too generic a thing to trademark anyway as a bunch of other companies also have M-lines of products, and the argument for it being shorthand for Mark 2 (since it's actually called the Titan) would probably negate any lawsuit.

Well, since the Titan M launched in 2018, the Titan M2 certainly seems like the logical next name. Google should probably just sue Apple for infringing on it's rights to the letter "M."

Google “We’ll name our security chip M2 and people will think it’s secure by association with Apple.”

People: “Sounds good we dumb.”
I believe the 2 refers to 2nd generation of Titan M chip

Google has been using the Titan M chip since 2018

at least 2 years before Apple came out with their own M chip

And Apple's security chip is T series, not M series

🤦‍♂️ Apple's security chip is T series, not M series. And Google's been using the M nomenclature for chips before Apple

Let's see if this is a rebranded, slightly modified Exynos chip like rumoured or not. Google releasing very little details about this chip and being so vague makes me assume it is.

I think Google, as Apple never used pro as a bigger device, just a better device.
Well, the iPad Pros are bigger than the other (contemporary) iPad models, right?

I agree that Apple markets the Pro devices as better, though. 👍

Why on Earth would they go back to the unsymmetrical bezels... one would think they learned their lesson
