Because he has yet to pay me back $2500 he owes me from over two years.

Greedy and strapped for cash are two different things. Your brother's shady dealings for a quick buck tell me he's more of the former than latter.

To be fair I suspect his brother is both.

To be entirely unfair, I think his brother is a scammer. A modern-day grifter and he has his family fooled.

How anyone can be robbed four times before they involve the authorities or even activate their already installed alarm system, is beyond me.

And to think it's your own brother initially, when he's allegedly rife with cash, makes no sense.

I believe the truth is his brother has no cash, the iPad dealings are a scam, and he's rifling the families belongings for pocket change.

Well, having an alarm system that you don't arm… even after multiple burglaries makes me wonder if the padlock's pin was 1234 ….

You're damn close. ;)

That money's gone dude. Trust me, I have siblings. I wouldn't give him another cent if I wanted my money back, especially if I thought he was a thief.

Face it though, he's probably just ignoring you when you ask for the money, because he thinks you'll eventually forget about it.

I remind him all the time.

iPad dealings aren't scams, it's shady though. Poles are just slow. He owes family more $ that he has yet to pay back.

Hey Squilly is there any chance that you could get your brother Squally to activate his MR account. It would be loverly to have double the entertainment value that your threads bring us. I'm sure that his input would be eagerly parsed by your avid readership.

KGB:cool:

And the rest of the money he borrowed was for?
I don't know tbh.

Until he posts here I will hold to an unfounded theory that Squally exists only in your posts and that you are taking a creative writing class  :D

Squilly, tell your brother if he posts here, we'll pay him. I'll give a dollar for every post via Paypal. Who else is with me?

Speaking of which, my brother got that $80k sign on bonus confirmed to his account months ago ....

And you know this - how? If your brother is stilling hitting people up for money then I might suggest that the $80 is more figment of imagination than real cash. Seriously Squilly - I'm being to wonder if you have a bad case of hero-worship for your brother.

Also... just figured out why the thief is not likely to be your brother or his friend.... if they knew the alarm was off and the padlock key... then they'd know the alarm code. You said that your TV was pulled off the shelf and then left behind - and you thought it was because the alarm went off. But if they knew the code they would have turned the alarm off before hand. So... I'm back to thinking it's process server gone rogue.

How do you know about that stuff?

Will mention it.

No, our alarm code is totally different from our padlock code. My theory is they didn't have time to take it so they left it.

I would like to think it's obvious the two codes should be different... If your brother has a bedroom in the house then he would have had the alarm code as well as the padlock code. He also would have known the alarm was set...It is not credible that the the adult in house would have turned on dormant alarm without informing everyone that it was in fact now set. And if your brother was sending someone else to do the nefarious deed, there's a 50/50 chance he would have remembered to tell his accomplice the code too. Since the alarm went off... probably not someone who knew the code... Which eliminates the inside job theory.

Back to the rogue process server....

Squilly bud, have you considered your brothers local 'business partner?'

are you referring to the security guard who's also an investor in one of Poland's major electronics store chains as well as several local businesses in the community where he spends his free time as a security guard at a high school? Like maybe he feels Squally isn't giving him his cut of the deal quick enough?

Or are you thinking that may be the Poles sent the "business partner" over to "remind" Squally that some of the product hasn't arrived yet?

Anyway, I don't think Squally's the burglar because after 4 robberies he'd certainly have announced that he's "missing" something of significant value and not just an old xbox (or whatever it was).

I was thinking of the High School security guard. :p

Yeah, him. I know he didn't do it. It's not my brothers fault product hasn't arrived yet. The poles are slow with orders, so "Squally" says.

Very entertaining Thread. I did have to search "Burglarized" on Google to see if its really a word. Apparently used in the USA only. Not heard it before, more used to the word 'Burgled".
