Thanks!

I think it’s the iPad camera that washed them out, my display tends to have a warm look to it as I have Night Shift constantly On.

Anytime.

It’s in the colour filters setting under accessibilities if you change your mind.

Thanks a lot! I have been plying around with it, and I am adjusting it daily to try find the best fit.

This Intensity seems just about right for me:

So 3 months into it and I seem to be loving my XS Max more and more. I got it a lovely Official Apple Silicone case in Black, it’s very nice and grippy and also got the Apple Watch Series 3 Nike, which is helping a lot with keeping up with my gym sessions.

Anyway, I am truly enjoying the XS Max, like a lot more than I should, I just love the way it feels in hand, it’s build in general is just perfect for me vs most other current phones, every time I pick it up I am just so happy to use it, it’s weird, been a long time since I have had this sort of joy for a tech product, I think the last time I felt a device was this “perfect” for me in terms of build and look was the Galaxy Note 4 or even going further back, the Nokia N95.

Everything from the Display dimensions and density, Apple’s iOS font, the Taptic Engine, the Steel Build, the solid feel when plugging in the Lightning connector, the Silent switch, the solid click of the buttons (Volume and Power)etc....

I guess what I am saying is that the overall aesthetics of this device, both in software and hardware just sets it apart from everything else, it’s almost addictive. I tried out many iPhones before, but none of them have struck me quite like the X series (Hardware wise), although the iPhone 4 was very close to this to me, but not to the point where I thought of buying it, however did leave a lasting impression on me after I first used it. I hope Apple stay focused on this and don’t do some radical redesign that takes away from this.

Yep, can't believe this is MY PHONE every time I pick it up and use it.

Easily my favorite iPhone ever. I seem to be enjoying more as each day goes by.

I definitely think this specific model will be remembered as a classic for sure.

I’m going to pick up a second hand mint XS MAX 256Gb next month once the 11 drops.

Seen loads on EBay already going for under £750 now so only to get even cheaper next month. Trading in my 7+ so should make for a cheap upgrade (roughly £500).

I might buy one after the iPhone 11 comes out. I love new iPhone launches, and it is not because I am buying the newest iPhone either!

Got my new toy and so far so good. The transition from Android is not too bad as I already had an iPad Air 2 that had a lot of apps that I used on my Androids to.

Will see if I stick around longer than 6 months, but so far so good.

I’ve had my XS Max since launch day, and I still marvel at this beautiful device. I love the way it feels in the hand, and the screen is delightful. I use it mostly without a case just because of the way it feels (well, and the way it looks caseless, too). The size is just right for me.

I only use phones without a case and without a screen protector. I’ve learned It is easy to avoid scratches with iPhones and iPads.

Never ever casually wipe your phones screen on your clothing, or random fabrics, and you’ll avoid scratches and even avoid tiny micro scratches. Always make it a point to wipe your screen with the same microfiber kept in a plastic bag.

Wash your hands throughout the day people, and don’t drop your phone, or place it in a bag with other objects. If you touch something with sand or dirt on it brush your hands off briefly.

You can easily maintain a raw device, and not a single micro scratch will develop.

Great write up, you seem to be really enjoying your iPhone experience.

Can’t believe you got an Apple Watch , that’s the point of no return.

You're getting locked in now. All you need is an Apple TV and a homepod.

I have an Apple TV. All I need is a MacBook and HomePod. I’m waiting to see if Apple change anything regarding the HomePod and buying a MacBook at tax time.

Literally, just unboxed and am typing this reply on my first MacBook (2017 i5/256/8) ever... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I've got a lot to learn, but so far it's everything I was hoping for and more.

Waiting for the next iteration of Home Pod, too high as is for my taste.
