What is it with all these sack-related accidents immediately after the snip-snip procedure? Is it just Murphy's Law at work? I rarely, if ever, get into an accident "down under".

oh ya..it's murphy's law to an extent, but since i have 2 boys who are very active, i've been sacked before. and my 4 year old, just after the snip when I was sitting down with a bag of peas and a ton of movies to watch, somehow wanted to jump on me.....right on my sore nuts. i screamed in pain, he cried and went upstairs.

note: if one does sit down a pile of movies, don't get comedy flicks...i hurt laughing for a day.

not as bad as when I had my hernia surgery about 1 month before getting married. i ended up getting baptized and following the priest around the church during the easter celebration. picture this: i was bent over a bit, baked on tylenol 3's and hobbling after the priest in a packed church as he did the sprinkle the water stuff around.

no problem i made it.

then my soon-to-be mother in law said a lady went up to her after the service and commented on how beautiful a service it was b/c that the 'poor retarded boy following the priest around'.

then my mom-in-law politely stated that that was me, her future son in law and I just had surgery. LOL

Lets just say Christmas is going to a lot more fun for me going forward since I can justify playing with the boy's presents (LEGOs, cars/trucks, transformers et al).

I can get away with a lot of that with two daughters now. Just have to stick to more generic Lego kits (of course, I'm a kid at heard and buy the gargantuan Star Wars models for myelf). My oldest has been asking desperately for a Buzz Lightyear toy, she loves her Pixar movies :D.

Oh and another funny story. My Dad had it done when I was about 4 and shall we say I was the perfect hight for things to go badly wrong. The day after he had it, for some reason I was in a crazy mood and I ran at full speed to my Dad expecting him to grab me and throw me in the air. He wasn't paying attention and I couldn't stop in time and ran head first in to... Well, I'll let you guess where I headbutted him!!!

LOL! :) My brother caught a baseball bat from his daughter a couple days after he had it done. Grapefruit on one side, baby :p

These things scare me, my oldest has a great knack for finding that spot with toys, a head-butt, or knees as it is. I'm probably going to be undergoing the procedure sometime in spring of 2009. I've already got the name of one doctor who I won't be going to (their second child is on the way and happened after the procedure).

You don't have kids between the ages of 1-6. They ensure that a week without some sort of incident "down under" is a rare week indeed.

My father had his down a couple years ago the day before leaving for an annual trip to Vegas with friends. I still remember him sitting on the couch with a bag of frozen vegetables, and him stuffing his pockets with singles so he could tip people throughout the airport to carry his bags. Apparently you're not supposed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk for a few days. *shrug*

I'll also throw my homo card on the table and state that I see no reason for having to worry about this myself in the future.

That shuffling sound you hear is the sound of thousands of men (and maybe a few women..) crossing their legs around the world.

If a doctor ever came at ¨mini me¨ with a knife in his hand, I think I'd ¨tuck and squeeze¨ to get out of there!

I had mine done about 10 years ago and whilst I was on the table I was talking to the assistant and he was asking what I did for a living. I told him I was in design and he says, oh I've got a friend in the same game, his name is ***** *****, only turns out he was one of my suppliers!

Thanks god for doctor/patient confidentiality!

Easy though guys, If your thinking about it, go do it. All that attention from your lady after is well worth it!;)

My dad had it done on a Friday so he could be back at work on Monday. Friday night, the Doctor who did the procedure called and invited dad snowmobiling. About 10 guys did a 40 mile midnight ride. My old man's pain tolerance is legendary...

well my first specimen is due on Monday!!!!!!:rolleyes:
